Are you ready for a super easy recipe for cake that is super moist? Sorry, I had to use that word. According to my calculations this is WW friendly, too, at 3 points per piece if you cut into 20 squares.

You need:
Funfetti cake mix
1 cup Greek plain non fat yogurt
1 cup water
Frosting: The cake is really good without the frosting, but this does add to it!
Tub of fat free cool whip
Box of instant vanilla sugar free pudding
Sprinkles
Instructions:
Preheat oven to 350

Mix cake mix, yogurt, water and spread into a 13 x 9 pan
Bake for about 25 minutes until toothpick comes out clean.
Let cool.
Mix thawed Cool Whip with pudding mix (just powder – do not follow box directions)
Spread
Sprinkle

What do you think? Are you a fan of funfetti like me?
Amy
P.S. – I am keeping my cake in the fridge because of the Cool Whip!
This sounds great! I just plugged it into my plan and it’s only 4 points… that’s about the same as one of my yogurt bars. Thanks for the suggestion!! Pinned.

Thank you! I found it somewhere else and should give credit but I am bad about remembering where I find things. I am going to try a different combo soon!
Maybe it is 4 for me, too. Oops! I hardly have any cool whip or pudding per piece, though.

I’d eat the whole pan! I have such a hard time with sweets, if I have even a little I want more. This looks like a great guilt free treat!

One of my very favorite old WW recipes was a box cake mix and a can of diet soda. I loved doing a white cake with Diet Sprite/7Up. Mixing fresh or frozen strawberries with some Splenda and pouring it over the cake, after poking holes in the cake. Then topping it with a tub of Cool Whip. SO, SO good!! I may just have to make one this weekend. 😉

Yes! I have made that! It works out surprisingly well, but I think this is better. The Greek yogurt makes it really, really moist. I do not miss the eggs and oil! And, poke cakes are awesome! I once made a non-WW one that was red velvet with french vanilla pudding I think? It was so good!

My Mom makes what she calls a pina colada cake that is a poke cake and definitely not WW friendly. It is so good!! Make a yellow cake, poke holes, pour on 1 jar of caramel ice cream topping, pour on 1 can of Coco Lopez cream of coconut, top with Cool Whip, and sprinkle with chopped pecans(optional) and shredded sweetened coconut. OMG!!! Keep it in the fridge and wait at least a half of a day to serve it. The best cake for summer time.

That sounds delish, but I don’t like nuts or coconut! That would be good for me to make so I’m not tempted! Lol!

I never put any of the toppings on the cake when I make it.
