It’s Friday! I’m linking up with Andrea and Erika to share some favorites from this week. I hope you had a good week, too!

My first favorite is that I’ve gotten more sleep this week! I think Eddie Otis is learning the night time drill and his bathroom breaks might be getting more regular now? He goes to bed in our bed around 8:30-9 and stays in the bed until 6:15. We take him out once or twice from our bedroom and then he goes back to sleep-ish. He does have a few chew toys in our bed.

I got my hair highlighted and it looks so much better. I debated getting it chopped off and wearing it straight, but for now I’m keeping my current routine.

I’m loving my new replenished Seint makeup and my Lipsense lipstick this week, too. If you are curious, I would recommend finding some follows on IG to see what they are all about.

Ok – yum! I can’t find this at my Kroger, but I did find it at Target and I’m going back to get more. There is nothing “yucky” in this creamer. I have to have some creamer. I cut out any type of sweetener in my coffee years ago, but I like some frothy cream, you know?

Eddie Otis is a biter! Look at my arms!

I do see some improvement in his biting and I do think he is realizing what “no bite” means now.

I love prom season and promposals. Look at the cute Crumbl promposal my senior niece got:

Catching himself in the mirror!

In things that make me laugh at school…we have a goose that has laid her egg in our school courtyard – in one of our raised planter boxes. They put caution tape around her and I heard they gave the counselors shifts of “goose duty”.

I am the last to leave the house these days around 8:00. I don’t have to be at school until 8:30 but I like to be early. I actually spent most of the year arriving between 7:30-7:45. I come home during planning period at 10:30 so EO has been crated for 2.5 hours. I take him out, walk him, play with him, and then he gets another hour and a half crated before Tom comes home for lunch. I have been leaving Tom a lunch:

He finds it hard to make his lunch and deal with the excitement of a puppy, so this is a little thing I can do for him.

These are really good rice cakes. I spread a Laughing Cow cheese on top for a snack:

I come home at 3:30 and EO and I pretty much stay outside until 5:30. We play and he gets sleepy toward the end of that time so I can take him in to make dinner and he naps a bit.

Our front flowers look so pretty right now!

This week was pretty slow – work, home, work, home, and didn’t involve much else other than a Kroger pick up on Tuesday after school.

I made taco wraps, Boursin and tomato pasta, chicken teriyaki bowls, and that’s about it for our dinners.

What were your faves this week?

Amy

  2. You hair looks wonderful! That is so sweet that you make Tom’s lunch for him; it’s those little things that often make all the difference.

  4. Your hair looks great! I know one of our dogs must’ve been a biter too because the “no bite” sounds so familiar. Can’t remember which dog, though! Have a wonderful weekend! It is supposed to warm up here, finally.

    1. Thank you! Yes! This one seems to be the worst biter we’ve had and he gets mad at you for telling him not to bite! He is already a little spunky guy. Thank you! 80s here this weekend! Eek!

  5. I feel you on those puppy nips! Graham’s little Oakley was a biter. I used to thump her on the nose all the time to get her to stop. Chloe bit me one time when she was little and I flicked her on her nose and then she took her paw and hit me back on mine! I am not even kidding. She does this all the time, still! It’s hilarious. I love those azaleas in your yard! I love spring time flowers! I need to take a walk around our beds and see what’s blooming, if anything. I hope you have a great weekend, my friend! I’ve been thinking of you, because I’m reading a new to me Sarah Adams book that I cannot put down- Practice Makes Perfect? SO. GOOD!

  9. It’s so nice when they get on a schedule (even if you’re the one on the schedule, too). When we got Jack, I decided to crate him at night. I love having a dog in the bed, but I discovered I sleep so much better without one. Oh, those sharp little puppy teeth! He’ll soon be losing them, and then you’ll find them all over the place.

That promposal is adorable! I hope she said yes! Gosh, I’m glad my boys didn’t have to do that. And, yay for protecting the goose egg!

    Have a wonderful weekend, Amy!

    1. If we didn’t have to crate during the day, that would be great, but we always feel bad. That will be fun to find them!
She did – this is her new boyfriend I found out!

  10. Your flowers (azaleas?) in the front are gorgeous! That’s one thing I miss here in Phoenix, we get lots of desert blooms and cactus flowers, but nothing as vibrant and abundant as the blooms in the eastern US. Eddie O will figure it all out pretty soon and then it will be smooth sailing. Have a great weekend Amy!

  11. Is that the cutest puppy ever, or what!? I love it that he seems to have a cool personality!

Believe it or not, but spring has finally arrived to Sweden! I’m actually planning to wear a skirt this week and have to shave my legs! 😀

Did I tell you I started The Women by Krisitin Hannah? Crazily good, but I had to return it before I could finish it… It’s like a serious Mash if you get it.

    Your arms! Oh my!

    1. Pretty much! He is sassy! I checked out a Stockholm book at the library and it’s so cool! It’s in today’s post. Yeah for skirt and that’s why you won the fashionista award!
I have that book on hold and hope the timing works out. My dad was in Vietnam War!

      1. I can’t believe your dad was in the Vietnam war! It must have been such a horrible experience!

I’m a bit behind in my reading, so I haven’t checked out that Stockholm book post, will do now!
