Well, I am trying to re-do this post as it didn’t save yesterday – oh well. So, it will be a bit shorter.

My first favorite is that Jack arrived back late Wednesday night from NYC and we still have a few more days left of the college kids home for spring break!

Did you celebrate Mardi Gras? I made Tom an old favorite that I have been making him for like 24 years – no joke. Emeril Lagasse’s couscous jambalaya with spoon bread was our meal. I actually used cauliflower rice for my portion and I may do that again. It was really good!
I tried another flavor of Bubly. I am using this in the afternoons to make myself think I’m having a cocktail – and it helps me reach my daily water goal.
I love Essie marshmallow!
I love my Thrive Causemetics mascara and using a primer with it is a game changer. I’m really happy with this very affordable Essence option.
And, I am new to the brow game, but I like to make sure I put some face lotion on each brow and let it set it a bit, then glide the NYX Fill and Fluff pencil over each brow, followed by the sponge at the other end. Then, I use the brow mascara. It lasts all day.
I can’t wait to wear my new accessories! Did you catch my Fashion Files yesterday here?
Actually, I did already wear the headband to school to mark the beginning of March!

I’ll have to get that primer next – I usually buy L’Oreal primer but Essence is probably even more affordable. We didn’t celebrate Mardi Gras – I honestly don’t like cajun food BUT I’d love a King Cake!

I really love this primer! I think it is better than the other two brands I have tried. It’s like $3.99, too! I have never had real king cake! I need to!

Oh, Friday already… This week went way too fast… Favorites are that we can actually sense some kind of spring feeling in the air! It’s much lighter in the afternoon, and the weather is milder. I actually sat outside in the sun for a bit today! It wasn’t that warm that you bring your coffee outside, but… soon!

Your library is so fun! I love it. I hope your boys have had a terrific break. I like grapefruit bubly too. I’ve looked at multiple krogers for the coconut pineapple flavor you shared but they aren’t to be found right now…& I can’t find mini moos (boo ☹️) I hope you have a great weekend!

Me too! I think they have – now the final push of their sophomore year and halfway done – crazy! Oh shoot – maybe Target? Mini moos were at my Kroger yesterday but they are also at Target. One more excuse to go to Target! Lol!

Don’t celebrate Mardi Gras and i do not like Cajun food. But i like seeing everyone’s posts. We finished up getting the beach house baths ready for the remodel and now we won’t be staying there til it’s done. We are v excited!! We will pop over to check progress and have a staycation!! I’m doing so good on my 12 in 2022 buying. I’m still at 2 items purchased. Go me! It’s made me realize i do have a lot of nice clothes and do not need to keep up with any bloggers or anyone else. Plus i notice a lot of bloggers return most of what they purchase for try ons. We really don’t need one of every color !! But to each thier own and it’s thier job. I do get it. Have a great weekend!

It’s not my fave, but Tom loves it. That is awesome! It will be worth it, but I know you will miss going there. That is so great that you are using what you have and not buying. It feels great, I’m sure!

That green book display – so fun! You have good librarians! I also enjoy using Flight Aware. Sometimes they post delays etc before the actual airline does. My Jack is headed to NYC next week. Have a good weekend!

I thought so! Yes, Flight Aware is on it! Make sure Jack knows about that app to show your vaccination status for NYC. Apparently that is a big thing? I hope he has a great time!
