This post is coming to you late because of technical problems – again! Ugh!
Also, I slept in today because we had a three day weekend!
I started my weekend on Friday after school with a little happy hour here with Erica:

Then, I stopped and got our favorite mediterranean food and Blizzards. We had been waiting for Jack to return home from NYC to have this meal.

I also made a pan of brownies!

We are watching The Great on Hulu with them now – it is very R.
Saturday morning it felt like spring!

I did TJ’s and Target pretty early and it was wonderful!

I had the sun roof open!

I spent some time on my deck reading and it was just what I needed!

Breakfast on the deck, too:

For dinner, I made honey mustard salad with chicken:

and loaded potato rounds with ciabatta bread:

I did a variation for me:

Also, I made a healthy copycat shamrock shake! It was pretty good!

I went back out to read after dinner:

And, another breakfast on the deck on Sunday:

We went to the movies – all four of us – to see the new Batman.

Then, I made chicken teriyaki bowls and our college kids left to go back to campus.
What was the highlight of your weekend?
Amy
What a great weekend! I always forget about the Shamrock shake. The movie sounds like the perfect Sunday family activity. Before you know it, it will be time for your spring break!

I love one a year, but I didn’t want to waste the calories on it this year. It was the perfect day for a movie. 4 more weeks for us. What about you?

I love the blue on your toenails! Have you ever shared your honey mustard dressing recipe?

Thank you – it is Essie “Amuse me”. I don’t know if I have shared the dressing. I just eyeball it and taste but I use some olive oil, mustard (sometimes dijon and sometimes yellow), honey, lemon juice, pepper, garlic powder and a bit of cajun seasoning. My family loves it!

Oh I can not wait to sit outside and read and eat lunch and breakfast…. That looks like a fabulous weekend! My highlight had to be roller-skating on Saturday. It has been so long since we’ve been to a roller rink and I managed to skate for 90 of the 120 minutes of skate time. I was beat the rest of the night though!

Mani pedi date on Saturday. dinner out with friends on Sunday night. That was about it! Got our golf bags all packed up for our trip this week. How do you make the copycat shamrock shake? I will splurge for a CFA peppermint shake but I am with you on not the shamrock shakes. How was Batman? Kelsey said it was long- 3 hrs. I dont think I want to sit thru that movie so I told Tony to make a bro date with his buddy and go see it. I will wait for it to be on a streaming service. Short week for me here and I am here for it! Have a great week!

My highlights from the weekend was both girls at the cabin and amazing weather! Sunny days is what I live for! And, believe it or not – we were able to sit outside with our coffee cups! Yihaa!
