How was your weekend?  I’m linking up with Heather, etc. so go here to see more posts.

On Thursday morning, my department at school had the first 2 hour exam block as our planning period, so we did a pitch in breakfast.

We had a quiche, a sundried tomato egg casserole, a sausage casserole, pastries, fruit, and avocado toast.  I made the avocado toast.

I tried to be cute and did mini muffins on Friday morning for the last day of my boys’ junior year!

Saturday we saw Aladdin.  It was so good!

And the rest of the weekend plans were affected by this… non stop rain.

I did jump on the bandwagon and I can’t put this book down!  So many people have recommended it.  I finally am reading a book that I will finish and recommend!

And, that’s it!  The rest of the time was laundry, chores, grocery shopping, and boring stuff like that.  Today is my last teacher day!

Hope you have a good one!

  3. I’m reading that book right now! And we made quiche for dinner to go with our salad. I just love quiche; even if I do make it crustless now for WW. I’ve been dying to go see Aladdin but my husband didn’t seem into it when I asked this weekend… maybe I’ll see if any of the boys want to go tomorrow since it’s supposed to be rainy anyway.

    1. I’m about 5 pages from finishing the book! Quiche is great for me but my family would not consider that dinner! They’re not into breakfast for dinner as they would say! I bet you can get a boy to go. My 16 yo theatre son was happy to go with hub and I!

You’re in the homestretch now for school, are you excited? Or just exhausted?!

    1. I just finished it last night. The ending surprised me. I haven’t heard of Sylvie but I will look for it. I am technically done now and feel like I could sleep for a week. Haha!

    1. I read the book in 3 days and I haven’t been able to say that about a book in awhile! I found and ate the toffee M and Ms in two days, too! Dangerous! Sometimes 3D bothers my eyes but I bet that was good!
