#1)  No school today and a 3 day weekend, baby!  It is Derby season in Kentucky and today is Oaks, so we have no school!  The first item on my agenda is to read all of your blogs today!  Ha!

#2)  This metallic pink tube got my attention!  It is called “Enchantress blush” and it was about $5.  New hack:  use lipliner and apply one coat of Lipsense.  Top with this and the Lipsense makes it last almost all day.  Yes, I love my Lipsense, but I like the texture of real lipstick sometimes.  Yes, I’m weird.  And, I think I have a slight problem with buying too many lip products.

Weird up close view of lipliner, Lipsense Razzberry, and finally Cover Girl Enchantress Blush. Sorry, folks!

#3)  This is my summer scent for the past two years.  It’s so fresh!  It doesn’t give me a headache.  I buy the rollerball because I’m cheap and only want to spend $25.

#4)  My Starbucks Peach Green Tea Dupe – Put a little bit of Crystal Light powder in a cup and equal parts water and Tazo.  Mix and pour over ice.  Yum!  And, much cheaper because this carton lasts a long time.

#5)  I couldn’t leave these napkins in the store.  I can’t remember where I found them?  I have only been to Target, Hobby Lobby, and Old Navy so I think it has to be one of those.  I have been loving my margaritas this season.

#6)  My favorite flower is the Hydrangea.  They are so beautiful.  I have a bush in my yard from my childhood home.  It was so thoughtful of my Dad to dig one up when they moved from that home.  It was their home from the time I was 5 years old until I was 34.  My Hydrangea blush blooms that pretty periwinkle color.  It didn’t bloom last year so I’m hopeful that it will this year.  I probably need to prune it.  I’m not the gardener type at all.  I wish I were!

#7)  I did my own nails with this color by OPI called “Rich Girls and Po’ Boys”.  This is only one coat followed by my Seche Vite top coat.

#8)  I was looking forward to this book, but it’s dragging a lot.  There are too many thoughts and not enough action.  Lol!  I’m hoping it will pick up.  I’m such a picky reader lately.

#9)  I hope I’ve made it clear by my blog name how much I love coffee and cocktails (usually just made by me).  This is my favorite creamer ever.  I have my Kirkland breakfast blend with this.  I was so proud of myself last summer when I gradually weaned myself from any type of sweetener in my coffee.  This is all I need and there are maybe 5 grams of carbs – not too bad on sugar.  It is so good.  It only comes in this giant container so I would feel really bad if you bought it and hated it, but I don’t think you could.  Make sure you get the EXTRA EXTRA.  Let me know how much you love it afterwards!

Well, that will do it for me!  Have a happy, happy first Friday in May and a wonderful weekend.  I’m hoping to visit with friends and go to a Derby party.

    1. Aren’t they cute? I will probably plan a patio happy hour just so I can use them! Hydrangeas at your wedding would have been lovely! I let someone talk me into orchids which are pretty but not my favorite! Have a wonderful weekend!
