Happy St. Patrick’s Day and happy birthday to my sister Kate!
It’s time to link up with Jill and Kellyann for Fashion Files.
Let’s go back to last week…
This is the day the mask came off! I think you can tell how happy I am. I am wearing my Walmart Scoop blazer (I have it in black, too, and I have worn each of them 3-4 times already!) I wish you could feel the material. It’s divine. I don’t use that word lightly. I wore my light jeans and my new bow mule flats – more information to come on those…

Don’t you love my photo backgrounds? Some bloggers find cool painted buildings or architectural details, but I have lockers.
The next day I wore my old JCPenney Liz Claiborne (name dropping!) chambray popover that finally fits correctly and my Hue jeggings with the bow mule flats.

Here is a better view:

I picked these up a few weeks ago at DSW.
Saturday for the pre-parade party and parade I wore a new green Target cardigan and my new green beer earrings and shamrock headband. Beth is in the middle and Erica is on the right. Erica doesn’t get excited about holidays at all, does she?

I love this dress! I bought it at Target back in the fall and it has pockets. So, yes, it has a bit of that Target Little House on the Prairie vibe, but I am ok with that. My gold clogs are a lewk, right? I cannot tell you how many students that I don’t even know tell me that they love them. And, it’s mostly boys! Street cred, maybe? I wonder if they talk about me and say, “you know – that middle aged teacher lady with those gold clogs?”

I just want to tell you again how perfect these gold hoops are. They would make an excellent gift. They look way more expensive than $12 and they are lightweight! Love!

I ordered this blouse from an online boutique called Shop.Set.Apart because I fell in love at first sight. It’s a light pink background. I love palm leaves. I’m not sure about the jeans or the clogs with it, but oh well. I found the boutique because the owner lost weight on WW and sometimes gives recipes/meal ideas. I enjoy these little boutiques because I feel like they have different things than what you see in the stores. Do you have any favorite online boutiques. Sizing can be tricky sometimes, though.

Do you have a favorite outfit from above? This is the craziest time to get dressed. One of the above outfits was for 30 degrees and one was for 70 degrees!
Thanks for visiting me,
Amy
Great outfits this week Amy! I adore your blazers, of course but your new mules are fabulous. How funny that the boys at school are the ones who most admire your gold clogs, how sweet!

Thank you so much! I never thought I could do the blazer but I always admired yours. I love these mules – they remind me of something I had in the early 2000s? Isn’t that funny?

I like that last top from the boutique – and the crop pants and shoes totally work!
I also love dresses with pockets ๐

Pink blazer outfit is my favorite, followed closely by the chambray shirt outfit! I canโt think of an occasion that I would wear a blazer, but Iโm going to order one and try it with a few things. We are in the 80โs already this week and the 100โs follow soon, so jackets are basically out until October.

Aww thanks, Nancy! You donโt like Little House on the Prairie? Lol!
The fabric of the blazer is really โcoolโ – temperature speaking. I think it might work for you. Lots of people are using them like a cardigan in super casual looks. Maybe go with black and you could wear except in super hot months? Or maybe it could be a layer for the super strong AC in certain places? Please let me know what you think!

The dress looks really cute on you! I think that because it is a shorter one and because of the pretty color it doesn’t give me little house on the prairie vibes. I like it! And yes to you sporting your new blazers!!

Love love love these outfits! The pink blazer and light denim are perfection! I love the gold clogs. Canโt go wrong with denim popover and black leggings. I used to have a denim popover but I donโt have it anymoreโฆand now I want one ๐คฃ

Thank you so much! I am now a blazer person! I am glad I found the denim popover like 5 years ago and that I didn’t get rid of it when it was tight – lol. I think chambray is classic. Mason has an American Eagle one of Tom’s that is 25 years old! If I see one, I will let you know!

Chambray is so classic! I ordered a chambray button down from target. Should be here soon!

You looked very nice in all your outfits, especially the chambray shirt one! How nice that it fits so well now – that is a great feeling!
So your trademark in school now is golden clogs! Funny!
For me the locker background is very exotic, so High School Musical! ๐

Thank you! I liked that one, too. It really is a great feeling to re-discover clothing that wasn’t quite right.
I guess that is my new trademark! I need to wear my red clogs more. They are actually more comfortable. I just really love a metallic I have found.
Ha – good perspective on the locker!
