I have a problem. I really like buying lip colors. I am trying to use what I have and be content with what I have – because I have plenty. And, I always like to have something on my lips. This fall I was wanting a fall rust/brown color but I went the drug store route to see if I really liked this color on me.
I found Maybelline Spice For Me.
I can top it with NYX butter gloss in Creme Brulee if I want to tone it down a bit.

I still love Revlon Goldpearl Plum but I was really wanting this new color and I wore it all weekend!
Do you have any Fall colors to recommend? Do you change it up for the seasons? I really love a red lip with leopard print and I need to find a perfect red for me! Any suggestions?

I saw this kit on the European amazon: L’Oréal Read My Lips Christmas Cracker Lip Kit: Red – maybe you have it in the US too? I think L’Oréal does really nice colors (and who doesn’t want a Christmas cracker!?)

I have a lipstick buying problem too, and a nail polish problem, and a clothing problem – hahahaha!!! I like your new color both ways, looks great. It is nice to have a spicy color for fall!

I like a red lip, too…but I am usually too lazy with my makeup routine to keep something on my lips all the time. I read something somewhere that said you if you need a pick me up, even if you are at home cleaning the floors, that slapping on some lipstick can give you a little boost. I think there is some truth to that. 🙂 I have found a good a red….it is like a brick red (red but a little toned down), which looks better on my skin tone…Burnt Red by Bobbie Brown. I like the color that you tried, too.

I’m not a big lipstick girl, but I love that one! I tend to buy nail polish like you buy lip colors. It’s so hard to be satisfied with what you’ve got when that new color is one shade off or has a little sparkle! Have a great day!

Thank you! I am loving this color for right now. I used to buy lots of polish because I love different colors but since I started the dip nail polish at the salon I bet I have actually saved money! A $30 mani lasts 4-5 weeks and I’m not buying polish! Girl math, right?
I also love this Maybelline formula – it has a nice consistency.
