Copy of Thursday Thoughts

Hello Friday!  It’s time for some favorites from this week!  How was your week?  I know some of you are on spring break and some of you are anxiously awaiting spring break!  Ours isn’t until the first week of April.

I have two favorites in this photo – the sunshine and mild weather and breaking out my MIA Sofia clogs!

My library came through this week – this is a sweet book about life in the south including stories from Reese’s life and recipes and some cute photos!  The title refers to the strength of southern women.

Essie’s Mojito Madness has been on my fingers this week for St. Patrick’s Day.  I bought this a few years ago and it’s a fun color!

I went in Old Navy last weekend and snapped a picture of my favorite shorts.  I love their linen drawstring shorts and have them in black, tan, and white.  I would like to add a fun color this year.  The pink would work with my black or white tops and the olive green would work with several things I have, too.

Almost a month ago, I bought this cute blouse from Old Navy for about $15 on sale.  I finally got to wear it with a yellow cardigan.  It’s perfection for spring.

It’s time, people.  This is a great way to get rid of the pasty white legs and get some moisturizer at the same time.  You simply turn the shower off and before drying, apply this.  There is no wait time.  You towel off and voila!  There’s no weird smell, either.  Have you started self tanning yet?  I did a post last spring on my thoughts and will do another one soon.  I start self tanning in the spring and continue through fall usually.

What were your favorites this week?  Did you try any new products?  Did you explore any spring fashions?

Have a wonderful weekend!  Spring is in the air!

  1. I was next to a mirror at yoga a few weeks ago and my legs looked so pale I immediately went out and got some regular Jergans tanner/moisturizer but have been putting off using it because I hate the smell. I’m definitely going to try this one ASAP as I’ve been using a Curel wet skin moisturizer and love it.
I recently finished the Arthur Trulove book and loved it, thanks for the recommendation
    Have a great weekend.

    1. I know! I scared myself a couple of times! Lol! I can’t stand a bad smell! I love wet skin moisturizers bc I’m always in a hurry and don’t want to take the time! Let me know what you think of it. So glad you liked Arthur! Such a sweet book. Happy weekend, Nancy!

  2. I like those shorts! Do they ride up at all? I need shorts but the shorter ones get caught up on my lush thighs. They look comfy and that colour is delicious!
I’ve never seen that self tanner before. I’m going to look for it in Canada. I’ve already vowed to start painting my toenails on the Equinox as a sort of Spring ritual, browning up the skin would be a nice addition to that too!

  3. I love those shorts! They are my favorites from Old Navy, I have a lot of different colors and love wearing them. So comfy and light. I love those clogs. I hope you have a great weekend Amy!

    1. Missed your posts this week! The shots are 40% off until tomorrow and I have pink and green in my cart. They really are the best. I prefer elastic waist clothing and you can dress them up or down. Happy weekend, Jenna!

  4. Thanks for spring inspo! You give me hope! 😀 Even if shorts and tanned legs are far away for me, I can still do some planning, right!? The self tanner sounds great! I absolutely can’t wear regular tanner because of the smell. Unfortunately we don’t have Jergens over here, but I will definitely buy it this summer (the list is adding up :-D)

    1. Soon I hope! The birds have started chirping in the morning here! The self tanners have really improved and don’t tend to smell any more. Banana Boat is another brand and L’Oreal also. You may have those? I’m going to keep doing the one I showed and add another after shower product. Of course it’s cold again this weekend! Back to jackets! Have a great one!
