Happy Friday! How was your week? Ours was hot! We had another heat advisory, but we think this might really be the last week of heat. I’m linking up with Andrea and Erika to share some of my favorites.

Here are my favorites in no particular order…
I have a former student who has a new baby and I got to visit this week! I took her a bacon, egg, and cheese bagel, hot coffee, iced coffee and a baby gift. I stayed for about an hour, and it was so nice to catch up, and I got to hold the baby!

I brought her my favorite diaper cream and this fall onesie.

Boy am I rusty! I hadn’t held and fed a baby this tiny probably since my youngest nephew was a baby and he is 12 now!
I enjoyed this earring combo this week. I have these little bows and I put them next to my little faux diamonds. I think I have decided not to do a third piercing because my friend’s daughter just had hers done, it got infected and she had to get an antibiotic! Also, I don’t want to sleep in the earrings.

I decided to keep the short Hunter boots that I got at Costco. I can wear them comfortably without socks and they were pretty easy to slip on.

My friend Beth gave me some of the cutest little tomatoes her husband has been growing and we picked them ourselves.

We also had a happy hour and went to a new to me place called Epiphany and I loved it.

Look at my cute drink:

And they had a choose 3 appetizer deal and we got house made pickles, bacon jam, and queso.

I am obsessed with dark green and picked up this Essie polish this week at Ulta:

I am using this and I already see a difference:

At the music festival, I must have gotten something in my eye because my eye was tearing up and my eye was red. I tossed my mascara just in case and cleaned my eyelid and corner of my eye with these for a couple of days:

I also bought this Dibs stick that I had been wanting at Ulta. It has bronzer on one side and blush on the other. I love a stick makeup.

This week I have been reading:

I’ve been watching Below Deck on Bravo, Real Housewives of New York and Salt Lake City (just started), and Dancing with the Stars but I record it and fast forward through all the talking. Did you see Ezra Frech? I watched him dance twice and cried both times. How amazing! Tom and I are watching Ted Lasso and Chad Powers, too.
Love this type of lunch I had a couple of days this week:

I loved this house in Maine from a blog I read. Check it out here!
Hot walk with EO:

And, I had another happy hour yesterday with my friend Victoria at Le Moo. We both had a good cocktail and enjoyed a little pig in a blanket and some crab dip.

It was nice to catch up!
What about you? What was a favorite of yours this week?
Amy
That’s a cute onesie! How sweet to bring the new mama breakfast and a gift. The restaurants near you are all so great with their food presentation. The look of those apps are so cute and well, appetizing. It’s been hot, here, too but the heat should be ending real soon- looking forward to that!

Aw, new baby snuggles are the best! I can’t remember the last time I held an actual infant either but I am sure it was many, many years ago. Both your happy hour visits sound fun.

Right? I think I’m more comfortable when they are a little bigger, though!

What a great week of favorites! I love that you got to see your former student and her baby. What a little doll! I laughed when I read that you’re a little rusty; this makes me excited to go to Colorado for my fall break. My niece had her fifth baby girl in May and I’m dying to get my hands on her! Thanks for that toothpaste rec; I stopped reading this for a second and bought some through Amazon. It’ll be here tomorrow! I’ve been meaning to buy something different than what I’m currently using, and my dentist recommended the Crest whitening products. A favorite for me this week was Wednesday night. I’m excited to start those back! Happy Friday!

Thank you! It was really special for me! I think I am better once they hit 3 months so you will be good! They are so fragile before that! I hope you like the toothpaste. I am so happy you have Rotolo’s back baby! Lol! You too!

How sweet that you got to visit your former student and her new baby! So special.
I watched a little bit of the Salt Lake City RH on the plane, I used to watch those shows all the time. I had my fill the other day though, all the arguing drives me nuts!
Have you seen your friend Ericka since you retired? I bet she still misses you at work like crazy!

It really was. She’s a good little mama! Oh gosh – they are just so bad. I am probably going to give up Salt Lake. I don’t like the women very much.

The appetizers look yummy! Too bad I don’t live nearby. Otherwise I would propose to join you for happy hour at some stage. 🤩

We went to the Coast for a few days and our kitchen was done over there. Yes, I’ve had two kitchen remodels going at one time lol even though the Beach House was just painting the cabinets and a new refrigerator and a new microwave. So much easier! But I couldn’t wait to get back home to my little grandson, Cooper! And I’ve been getting all of the baby snuggles!! They’re coming over to watch football tomorrow night- just for a change of scenery!! I can’t wait for Cooper to see Gigi and Papa’s house!!

Your area has been so hot. Grace has said it is unbearable in Nashville! The appetizer tray with the pickles looks so good. It has been so long since I’ve held a baby too. We’re watching DWTS. Ezra was incredible! I use Crest Whitestrips and love them. Hope you have a good weekend.

I bet Nash is even hotter. I love a pickle! I was so rusty with the baby! Ezra is amazing, no? I have only used the strips a few times and they felt weird on my teeth but I guess I would get used to it!

Ezra’s dance was impressive! I was amazed by that. The onesie is so cute and isn’t it sweet to hold a baby? I need to look for that toothpaste. Happy weekend!

Very! I liked how Daniela talked openly with him and how they worked together. It was so sweet. I think I’m better with a 3- 6 month range. The toothpaste is really good, in my opinion. I can’t remember where I got mine. Maybe I ordered it from Kroger.

What a cute little one! Gosh, I don’t even know anyone pregnant right now! You had a busy but fun week. The high point of my week was the opening of Giants, the art collection of Alicia Keys and Swizz Beats. It is amazing and absolutely giant! Of course, the second best was my retreat has come and gone. I got my presentation written and given so I can now relax until I have to write something else…which is soon! But, that pressure is off of me.
