Hello! What have you been wearing? Honestly, I have been wearing my rain jacket! It rained all last week and into the weekend. I love my rain jacket if you are looking for one. Here it is! Mine is sadly about double the price right now of what I paid. Here’s one on major sale that is lined and long. It’s Columbia and only $24!

One day last week I paired my navy Old Navy blouse with my Old Navy lime green and white striped linen shorts during the day for walking the dog and some errands and then…

switched to jeans for my happy hour plans…

I wore my espadrille wedges, and they need to be stretched and broken in a bit more, but I had them on for several hours and they were pretty good.

I wore this to dinner in the rain. This is a very old TJ Maxx blouse with Amazon jeans and gold Mary Janes.

I wore this to grab a drink with my friend. The rain brought cooler weather and this cardigan was perfect. This is from Target this spring.

Saturday pedicure outfit. I am wearing Aerie shorts and an Aerie shirt! Call me, Aerie!

This is how I looked part of every day!

I dug these little shoes out of the garage. I bought them at Costco years ago. They are little rain flats. If I see these at Costco again, I will buy another pair. I also need to start looking for short rain boot replacements. This stuff isn’t necessarily fun to buy but it’s needed!

Purse straps can really add a little something something. Jenn talked about hers in her accessories post last week. I have three. I have this one:

this one:

And I have my red and green one:

They can be clipped on to any little purse that has hooks.

Here are some Amazon options!

So, what have you been wearing lately?

Join the link up here!

Once again, thank you so much for participating!

  1. Oh my gosh, those little rain flats are adorable! I would grab a second pair of those cuties, too! Thanks for hosting the party.

  2. For the past 4 or 5 days I’ve been back to pants, sweaters, and long sleeves.. but it’s supposed to reach 81 today so it’s back to summer stuff today.

  3. You wore some really cute outfits despite the rain: same weather here and I am getting tired of it. It has been raining for almost a week and it’s supposed to rain till Monday! We get a reprieve on Wednesday, so I guess we will plan something for that day! Love those striped shorts and that white cardigan is really pretty!

  4. I have the low Hunters which hit about mid-calf. I even wore them to church Sunday because it was raining hard. I love them and they are so comfy. I have a tall pair too I never wear because they are just too tall and too stiff. I’m living in my rain jacket right now too.

    1. Isn’t that height great? I never wear my tall, either! I can’t wait to find a replacement short boot. I am not sure I want to splurge on Hunters but now would be the time to find a deal, probably.

  5. I need to start taking photos of my outfits to join in! I just got out of the habit (that I’d barely started, lol). Your outfits are so cute- I like the black blouse a lot with the light jeans. And those rain flats. I have never seen shoes like that- I definitely want a pair!!

  6. Such a cute week! I like the striped shorts. I was hoping to get my bin of shorts down over the weekend and pack away my sweaters but I didn’t quite make it. I do keep a few shorts out all year because I literally can wear shorts all year. But I try to make room for sweaters. Sweater season is definitely over!

    1. I honestly can’t believe I put on that many outfits. That will be a good thing to do when you get to it! I love finding “old friends” that I have forgotten about.

  7. It has been raining here for days and is supposed to continue all week. I’m officially OVER rain! I love your rain flats from Costco, so cute! I have the Hunter tall rain boots and have worn them exactly once. They are very stiff and I needed help to get them off. Will start looking for a shorter version, less stiff. Have a great week!

    1. Right? Argh! I guess it’s a good time to refresh the umbrella (I did that!), rain jacket, and rain boots. I had the tall boots for years but never wear them anymore. Short boots are where it’s at. They are so much easier to put on. Have you seen the short Hunters? I still think my $20 Costco ones were the best but I ripped the tab in the back that helps you get them on so I need new ones.
