Let’s go ahead and summarize my March books! I hope you also read Hello Monday! It’s a twofer as I have a lot of stuff to post here at the end of the month!

Glad I read but it won’t be a favorite…

Loved so much! This might be my favorite of 2026 thus far…

Glad I read. I got a little bored about 1/3 of the way through but then I stuck with it. It did come together well toward the end.

Two non-fiction books I skimmed:

I don’t count these in my books read for the month since I can’t make myself read every single page.

I love a self-help book. I think there is always a little nugget I can get out of them.

I really couldn’t put this down – get it?

Love all the Sarah Adams books for a quick, fun chick lit book!

I don’t know if I can recommend this book. The family annoyed me.

This started out cute and light but then it got pretty silly. Two words: “chicken” and “wheelchair”.

This surprised me. I really liked it.

So, that’s a wrap for March.

  1. I was just thinking yesterday that I’m pretty sure This Book Made Me Think of You is going to make it onto my favorite book of the year list too.

  2. I also loved This Book Made Me Think Of You. So original! I loved Theo and read it before it was so talked about, which probably helped me like it more. I can’t say Culpability was a favorite, but it did make me think.

    1. It was such an act of love that her hub did for her. Awww – such a good read. I think reading things before the hype does help. I just remember thinking – am I going to hear about 92 bench portrait sessions? I really didn’t predict the end at all!
Same for me on Culpability. I really disliked the parents.

  3. I read Culpability in March, too. I didn’t like any of the characters and found the husband/narrator to be especially frustrating and annoying. By the end, I wondered if the point was culpability for the accident or culpability for creating an arguably dysfunctional family through a certain type of parental neglect.

    1. Yes! Same! Good point – the word “culpability” might have had dual meanings. Once technology enters the equation how do we parent? There could be a whole other world that we know nothing about. These parents were so narcissistic but was I too?

  4. You read a lot of books. I think I’ve completed one or two, and they’re middle school books if not upper elementary. I just needed a palate cleanser. I’m going to have to look for This Book Made Me Think…I’ve seen it mentioned before.

  5. I agree with you about These Summer Storms. The whole family was annoying and miserable, so it was hard to root for any of them. I finished it, but won’t be recommending it to anyone.
