I am happy to be back today linking up with Kellyann and Jill to share a bit of what I have worn this week.
I wore this to the German Christmas Market as it was pretty warm out. I have on Halaras, my TJ Maxx faux Birk clogs, a fun graphic tee that I found in store at Old Navy a few weeks ago – it has stars, bows, cherries, wine glasses, etc. and I thought it was a bit Christmasey so let’s pretend it is – and the best cardigan for the best price. I have always loved Amazon Essentials brand and I wanted a red cardigan. It was $17 and it’s the pretty heft and length.

I wore this outfit – Halara jeans, beige Adidas, black tank, star cardigan on the Monday before Thanksgiving.

A shoutout to my sister Molly on our closing day and adventure in our hometown. She is wearing the Nikes I gave her for her birthday, really cute jeans (can’t remember where she found them) and the cutest $12 TJ Maxx sweater with a crocheted-looking collar.

I forgot to get my photo this day, but I ended up spilling coffee on my shirt so that was not cute.
Sunday, I wore my “North Pole Cocktail Club” sweatshirt, red Matilda Jane pants, Adidas, and red/green barrette to do some shopping.

Hair:

Monday I wore Halaras, barefeet apparently! (No, I put on the faux Birks), a white t-shirt, and my Christmas tree button sweater that is 3 years old maybe.

Tuesday, I wore my other red Matilda Jane pants, my short Koolaburra by Ugg boots, my Prosecc Ho Ho Ho shirt, a red/green headband, and my fuzzy vest. I look kinda crazy but I was warm and comfy.

Yesterday I wore my “Merry and Bright” sweater with light Halara jeans and sneakers.

My Black Friday 40% off Impress nails order came in! I may have gone too much in on the reds and burgundies. I have a red with sparkle, burgundy, burgundy with some white accents (I probably won’t use), a holiday set, a milky white, a navy, a blush pink, and a blue French mani. The blue French will have to stay a bit longer than I prefer or I would cut off the blue tips.

My niece Brooke came over Tuesday for a tutorial! How fun! Here is my blog post where I explain my method.
My new lifestyle is very casual, but I am trying to dress each day/get out of workout clothes and actually put on an outfit, albeit a casual one.
It’s fun to move the stuff in your closet to one section – all your reds, greens, holiday attire – and it’s often shocking how much you have. I think it helps me get into the spirit. And, then I turn more to my blues, blacks, whites, greys in January. It just mixes up my winter clothing for me, you know?
What have you been wearing lately?
Amy
I like all of your festive attire! I only have three overtly Christmas clothing items (I think?) but I have several red and green sweaters that I tend to wear more during the season. The red one also looks festive for Valentine´s Day. I like your sister´s blue sweater. That collar is different but in a good way.

Thank you! With your love of Christmas, I am kind of surprised! Just red and green are perfect and you should be able to cycle through all of them or most of them with your long term sub, no? I really liked the collar, too.

You have such cute festive clothes! I was thinking that’s one area I don’t have much of – cute little Christmasy things to wear. If I was still working in school I’d probably have more, it would be fun to wear all the cute things. It’s also still pretty warm here too so I need to look for lightweight things.
Molly’s outfit was so cute!

Thank you so much! It’s probably hard in Florida and it also doesn’t seem too practical for a just a matter of weeks.

I find this time of year many of my mirror selfies include me in my socks; I tend to ditch my shoes at the door and not wear them around the house much so that barefoot photo made me smile. I pulled out and wore my one Christmas sweater yesterday with some fun Christmas tree earrings. You have lots of fun and festive outfits!

I don’t wear shoes in the house, either. I put them on for my picture when I am going out. Yay – fun! I think it’s fine to just have one!

I love all the holiday outfits, but my favorite by far is the day you thought you looked crazy with the HO-HO-HO shirt and red pants with a vest. I love the pink and red color combo! You should wear headbands more! That one looks cute on you. I have worn holiday clothing each day since I’ve worked this week, but today I’m going more neutral and will wear red or green pants. I love dressing up like this each day, and I agree about having more than you realize when you organize your closet in sections. I don’t do that, but I know what I have since I’m not a huge shopper and haven’t done that in a while. I love that you and your sisters had an adventure last week! I’d love to hear more about that, unless I missed that post? Happy Thursday!

Thank you! I actually liked it, too. It was a lot but pink and red are so cute to me. I felt like headbands looked better when my hair was longer, but they are so easy to put on for second day hair, especially!
I need green pants!
That was just the day of the house closing and it was just Molly. We went to two wineries and one looked like they had thrown up Christmas.

Your festive outfits are so cute! Think I am going to look in my closet for all my Christmas looking clothes and put them in one area. Thanks for the idea. Your sister’s sweater is adorable! Seems like I have seen one on Amazon or maybe it was a jacket with a cute color like her sweater 🤔

Thank you! I think you will enjoy that method? It really is such a cute sweater and for $12! I think they are trending right now!

I’ve never thought of grouping the clothes in my closet by color! What a great idea, especially during this season!

My fave consignment shop does it! I think it’s a good way to group? I think that way we are usually surprised by how much red and green we have.

It’s fun to get dressed even if there is nowhere to go. I pulled out all of my fun tops and sweaters, got rid of a few, thrifted a few and am excited to get dressed in the mornings. I have found it makes a big difference in my mood. That is why I tend to not keep things that don’t make me smile.

I have been trying to find the perfect Christmas graphic tee and am failing miserably. I love how you declare it Christmasy…I might have to do that. I love the two pairs of Adidas sneakers I have…why I never got them before, I’ll never know!

I love your sister’s outfit. I’m really into sneakers right now and feel like they were only for gyms for so long. I never wore them out.
I’m working on rebuilding that SAHM wardrobe I refresh every few years lol. I think the flared pants (yoga or jean) really elevate a look for some reason? The red ones are great. So much better than regular leggings.

Me too! You’ve got the gym sneakers and the fashion sneakers now.
Yes! Your wardrobe is different this year than last I’m sure. I agree – they look really good in public whereas I don’t love leggings in public as much anymore. I do like the socks over leggings look, which is very young person.
