This is a bit dramatic sounding, but I am going the route of Modern Mrs. Darcy and The Lazy Genius because I enjoy these so much! It could be a show, a book, a product, a song, really anything!

It’s a way to put a positive spin rather than a negative spin on life, too. It’s easy to sit around and say what’s driving us crazy, right? I don’t ever want to fall into that trap where all I do is complain. I would rather say to someone, “tell me what’s really working for you right now.” The conversation suddenly becomes so much more uplifting.

My frother! I splurged (relative) and got the frother that isn’t handheld and I love what it does to my coffee so much!

My library and all the great books I get!

Reading outside!

Old Navy graphic tees! They are soft as soft can be, good quality, and the price of a coffee. I think they are so fun to throw on.

Phone calls, texts, and usually one on one brunches, lunches, happy hours, and dinners with friends! I try to connect with someone once a week.

Press on nails! But only Impress brand!

Pull on jeans by Halara!

A smallish fall wardrobe of things I really love! Getting dressed is easy!

My old Swiffer and my new heavy duty cloths!

This creamer! Yum!

Love is Blind! It’s been fun!

What is saving your life right now? What’s really working for you or enhancing your life?

  1. I agree so much that it“s healthy to take time to focus on positive/helpful/uplifting things in life. It is in my disposition to get frustrated easily and go to a ¨woe is me¨ mentality (even when I KNOW that things really aren“t bad or difficult in the scheme of things). I enjoyed reading your list of things. I would say things enhancing my life are getting garden produce, sharing it, being as creative as I can be with crafts, spending QT with loved ones, reading my Bible and meditating on God“s promises and provisions.

  2. Definitely agree with books/library! I’m hoping to get to mine today since I have another book I ordered that has come in.

  3. This is a fun post! Currently saving my life of marking texts unread until I can answer and the send later feature when I do have time to respond but don’t want to send a text at 11pm or 6am šŸ™‚

  4. This is such a good list! I have enjoyed having a clean car lately! I have a car wash membership and I like being able to have it washed/vacuumed regularly. I am not sue if that is saving me, but I am enjoying it!

  6. This was a fun read! I love all of your things. Okay, things saving my life right now are my iced coffees that I make every morning, music that’s on repeat 24/7, my friends and their continued encouragement, my sisters, comfortable shoes at work, clothes that I love and feel good wearing, and my new hair gel! I know that last one sounds cheesy, but it’s true; I’ve switched and it’s made a huge difference in my hair and how it looks.

    Happy Tuesday!

  7. MUSIC! That’s been true most of my life, but especially over the last year, music has been a life saver for me. Matthew’s marching band. Alex’s orchestra. Spotify. The Wicked movies. These things have brought me the most joy and been my saving grace.

  10. I agree on the frother!

I always struggle to get into the other LIBs on Netflix. I haaaaaate dubbing and even the UK one is bothering me. I always like having subtitles on anyway but I can’t deal with having to focus so hard.

  11. Loved this post! I pop over to your blog often but have never commented. I found you through a link-up party.
Great to stay positive. I do love your nails. I will be looking for them.
As for me… my hand held frother. I have not graduated to a real one yet. But I will one day!

    1. Thank you! I kept my hand held but the foam that the big boy can make is chef’s kiss! There is a bit of a learning curve with Impress nails but they already have the sticky on them and you just need to sit at a table and take your time picking the best size for each nail without going over. Then you stick and I cut and file. I get short length.
Pop back in and let me know how you did!

Oh and my hand held frother is new to me. But with your encouragement I will be graduating very soon! šŸ˜„

      2. I had eye surgery for a detaching retina last week. Part of my recovery is spending 8 hours each day face down for two weeks. What is saving me is being in the right frame of mind. Instead of feeling claustrophobic and anxious about this, I am grateful that I am in the comfort of my own home, with no pain and the love and support of my friends and family.

      3. I taught with a lady who had to do this! I’m so sorry! Did you get a massage chair to lay in? Are there any creative pieces of furniture or anything you can Jerryrig? I will pray your time goes quickly!
