It is time for Fashion Files with Kellyann and Jill!
Are you a hat person? I want to be. I found my Soho and Paris hats for a steal on the JC Penney website this winter!
These kind of look white, but they are new and they are tan linen pants from Amazon based on Jen’s rec. They are pretty wide leg and I am not sure if I like these or the white linen I bought better. Anyway, these will be more warm weather kinda need to dress up pants. Again, I have on the tropical TJ Maxx blouse, and my new this season Dr. Scholl’s sandals with the buckles.
This overshirt from Aerie is just too big and looks frumpy but I can’t part with it. I wore it with my tropical graphic tee, old mini skirt from Old Navy and faux Birks.
I have two Aerie white button ups and they are perfect. I bought a second because it was on major sale and I knew how much I was reaching for it. I also have a yellow stripe version. I pulled out this red and navy skirt for Memorial Day weekend and wore my Paris slides. I bought the Paris slides at TJ Maxx right before the Olympics for like $8.
I wore this outfit again two days later on Memorial Day itself but in a more casual way.
And, here’s the yellow stripe with my Wild Fable sweat shorts. I’m telling you I keep reaching for these button ups. It’s been pretty cool here so long sleeves with shorts or skirts is working.
I love my Amazon Anrabess boxers and keep reaching for them, too. I like them with my button up.
I’m in love with these Wild Fable by Target shorts. I put a pair on every day! They have washed very well.
Don’t you love it when you have made a good clothing purchase that you can stand by?

I am not a hat person but really wish I was; it would be great to protect my face from the sun and make my summer hair so much easier. Your outfits all look so nice and summery! I am going to have to check out those tan linen pants. I no longer have a pair in my closet but I do wear them a lot in the summer.

I was just at Aerie last weekend to buy a few birthday gifts. I love their sweatshirts so much, it was hard not to grab one. I bought a button up for my friend, I hope she likes it. Shocker, I did not buy anything for myself! I need to go back clearly!
I don’t think the over shirt is frumpy at all! Keep it and enjoy it.

I like a good casual, comfy outfit- you are rocking comfy casual. I have gotten more into hats lately. When I run, I almost always wear a ball cap. Because I was a crazy running lady for many years, I associated hats with running and not with every day non lifing. However, lately, I’ve been embracing wearing hats as part of my outfit, not just for running.

I want more shorts in my life! I bought some biker shorts this week; I’m anxious to see them and try them on when they arrive today, but I plan on wearing them with loose, long sold tees. I would like a white button down! Where did you get yours? I love the look of the skirts on you!

I think all of your outfits were really good! I really like the white shirt with the red and blue skirt. I go through periods when I really like button ups, and then I don’t!

I love baseball hats and have quite a collection. The wild fable shorts are so cute, especially with the button ups.

I am struggling with that Aerie pink shirt, too. It looks great with that graphic tee. I am thinking about using it as a bathing suit cover up this summer. If it doesn’t work, off to the donate/consign pile it goes. Your Memorial Day outfit looks good both ways!

I like hats and wear a baseball cap almost every day in the summer months. My dermatologist told me I should wear a big brimmed hat but I love a baseball cap. I have two new bigger brimmed hats that are cute and I have a Tilley I wear when the boat is moving because it has a strap and doesn’t fly off. I still need some summer pants. I like your linen-they’re cute. Have a great weekend!

I love a baseball cap and really like mine. I need a new sun hat and might take the Shay Shull hat rec. That seems like a good one. I have lost several on the boat – oops.
I love that little skirt. It’s seriously 10 years old from Target.

I think I would like to be a hat person but I really just have a couple when I’m out in the summer and don’t want a sunburn. They obscure your vision! I am a sunglasses at all times person instead.
