So, yeah…I like to buy shoes. I lost most of my summer ’24 collection to one Mr. Eddie Otis, my chocolate lab puppy. But, I had too many summer shoes, to be honest, so maybe he helped me out?

But, summer shoes are so fun to buy!

Also, I am wondering what my non-teacher shoe wardrobe will look like as time goes on. Will I live a glamorous life of heels? Yeah, no.

Nevertheless, I hope to have some occasions to wear my new cork heels. And, I am ready to not be so dictated by those hard cement floors, you know?

Do you like how I paired them with my very old lounging shorts?

They are probably too cool for me!

I bought these for $30 ish dollars and have already worn them several times.

My Target flip flops are so comfortable and well made. I wear these almost everyday right now for at least part of the day.

I added a new Target pair to my collection. They are really well made and by Universal Thread.

I’m still loving my New Balance and hope to be using them for walking more!

And, I added these Dr. Scholl’s sneakers for $30 something direct from the Dr. Scholl’s website with a coupon they sent me!

They are extremely comfortable and cushy and I wanted something that would work with dresses, too.

Don’t forget today is the day that “Wear Whatever the F You Want” with Clinton and Stacy comes out on Prime. I’m excited to see what it’s all about!

What summer shoes have you purchased?

Amy

  1. I mostly live in flip flops all summer long and I’m trying like crazy not to add any to that collection since I have so many. Though you and Jenn nearly have me convinced to give some converse sneakers a try!

  2. Cute shoes! I’m pretty well stocked summer shoes wise and have not purchased any new ones for the season. I am not against a purchase- just have not gone out of my way to look and in my non looking, just general life, none have jumped out at me and said, “Buy me!”

    1. Thanks! Some seasons I just can’t get excited about new styles. I feel like I am set now but we shall see! I never did see everything you bought in Lou so I hope you do a post!

  3. I’m trying to put together a shoe post. I love your cork Cameras! Your feet are going to be so happy in retirement. When I started working from home, the difference was incredible. Those concrete floors are brutal!

I am SO excited about the return of Clinton & Stacy!!!!!

  4. I confess to loving heels and wearing them whenever I can. I have a problem with my achilles so the orthopedist told me to never wear flats. I buy flip flops with a little arch but it’s not always easy to find cute ones that are comfy too. I need to go shoe shopping!

  5. I did break down and buy a pair of Sambas and a pair of strappy sandals from Miz Mooz. I’m still debating the Cameras. Are they super duper comfortable? I like flip flops (shocked my students once when I called them thongs), but they just aren’t good on my feet for long periods of time.

  6. I’m a shoe addict too 😆 I have 2 pairs of Birkenstock sandals. One pair I got at the Goodwill clearance bins. They are one of my favorite pairs of shoes for the summer. I need to wear my other shoes too! I like the 2 buckle Universal Thread shoes you got at Target. Are they comfortable for walking around alot?

  7. I finally gave into the Mary Jane trend and I bought a pair of off-white Mary Jayne/espadrille from Rothy. They are so comfortable and I have already worn them several times. I even influenced one of my girlfriends to buy a pair. I had a $40 referral code waiting so they were originally 149 and I paid 109. I don’t mind paying more if the shoes feels great. 😊 I’ve also purchased a pair of black sandals from a store over at our outlets. But I have not had a chance to wear them yet. And I purchased a pair of white canvas vionic beachy shoes. – Again, so comfy!! And I’ve wanted a pair of navy flip-flops from Archie’s. They arrived yesterday and they are so comfortable. Are you seeing a trend here? I like comfortable shoes. I don’t do well with shoes that do not have a good arch.

  8. Next time I need a sneaker, I am going for Dr. Scholl’s! I am glad they passed the school test for you of comfort. I am going to watch Stacy and Clinton hopefully tonight or watch tomorrow.

  9. What’s funny is that I have always liked the look of Dr. Scholl’s and even have own several pairs of wedges over the years. But lately, they literally have a big DR. SCHOLL’S stamped right on the side. No thanks haha.

  10. I love all the shoes, but those new cork heels are the bomb! Are they comfy? I’d like to try some eventually, but I’ll wait since my life is about to be dictated by hard cement floors. 🤣 I’m counting on my Dr. Scholl’s to do well for me, both the sandals and the sneakers. I loved seeing some of these in person!
