Still loving graphic tees. Forgot to take a full body photo on Friday but I wore this new Old Navy graphic tee with a cardigan.

It’s Thursday and time to link up with Kellyann and Jill for Fashion Files.

But, first I am officially tired of my winter clothing! It’s a good thing it’s been so warm this week! It’s been wonderful! Everything is easier when it’s not so cold out.

I have dubbed this week…

Blouse week!

We are having temps of 50s-60s so I decided to do Halaras and blouses each day or blouses and other pants.

But, first here is what I wore to end last week. On Thursday it was snowing and icy and I wanted to wear my boots so I did my black dress pants, a stiff white button up, and my green sweater. Erica accused me of being dressed up. I wouldn’t call this dressed up.

For Saturday hair day, I wore this with my black vest. These are my medium blue Halaras and a top I got at TJ Maxx a couple of years ago.

Funny story – I was telling Laura, my hair stylist, about Halaras; she had heard of them but was scared to order without trying on. She didn’t think she could do wide legs. I went home and brought her a pair to try on. She is ordering them!

For girls dinner out, I wore the black Halaras, my black silk Chico’s button up blouse, and the black wrap I bought for $5 at Versona for the funeral.

You really can’t go wrong with all black. I love all black so much!

And, for Monday to start my blouse week, I wore this new $8 TJ Maxx blouse with the blue medium denim Halaras. I walked in and my co-worker Sarah had on her cargo Halaras.

I wore my Macy’s Softwalks.

And brought these velvet Mary Janes to change into if I felt like it.

For Tuesday, it was even warmer and it was super sunny, so why not go with florals?

This is a blouse by Umgee and my lighter Halaras with my Softwalks again.

Walmart trench coat as my topper…

I talked my friend Beth into getting some gauzy things a couple of weeks ago and I made a gauze section of my closet to see what I have! Good news – gauze is still popular and it’s a great material for those of us who need some temperature control. I have loved and worn my gauze a bunch.

I will continue on with my blouse week and show you the results!

What are you wearing lately?

Amy

  1. Love all your outfits! Blouse and pants/jeans is the best combination! But the striped top with jeans also looked really great on you!

I’m actually rediscovering skinny jeans, fortunately I didn’t throw them all away… It’s getting warmer here too, and I can’t wait to put my winter jacket in the wardrobe and let it stay there!

  2. I really like the floral top from TJ Maxx- I think it’s blue and red. I am a sucker for florals. I like big bold florals and also little tiny floral patterns. We are in that nice one day terrible the next day weather pattern that we could be on for close to the next two months. I have to layer up every day…

  3. It’s been a bit warmer here this week too (not as warm as there but I’ll take it!) and I have been turning to blouses and things over my sweaters as well since I am just so sick of them.

  4. our weather is a roller coaster – this week some days near 50’s but overnight it gets down to the teens. This weekend is not get out of the 20’s. Most days I am wearing leggings and a sweatshirt.

  5. “Erica accused me of being dressing up” – I love it, like it’s a bad thing looking fabulous! I love what you wore all week. You are the Halaras Queen! I swear they look so good on you. I was thinking of trying a pair, but I saw so many reviews mentioning the smell and several said they pilled right away. Anyway, still thinking but you are definitely influencing me!!

    1. Mine are not pilling at all! Maybe that is one of the different fabrics? Thank you – I hope I am not delulu as the kids say and that they do look decent. I don’t want skinny jeans to be in style just as I am discovering wide leg!
The smell – the medium denim still carry it a bit and it gets rejuvenated by the dryer I think. The light and the black don’t carry the smell. I never did the freezer trick but I need to clean out my freezer so maybe I will do it then! Ha!

  7. I love the last 2 outfits! They look so cute on you! I am wearing workout clothes. Trying to exercise more and lose a little weight. I need someone to eat the Bluebell ice cream in my freezer before I do 🤣
