Happy Halloween! I am wearing all black to school today for our Thriller flashmob! More to come!
I am linking up with Kellyann and Jill for Fashion Files today.
My birthday is this weekend and I love having a fall birthday. I have always used it as an excuse to add a few fall items to my wardrobe.
I bought myself a trench! It’s from Walmart! Can you believe it?

For $30 I am impressed with the fabric and quality.
I had a mini consignment haul where I found black jeans that I needed, a gorgeous magenta velvet blazer, and an Anthropologie skirt new with tags that read $130 as the original price. I came home with all three for $40.
The jeans:

Sorry you can’t see much of them, but they are the perfect length and fit like a glove.
The skirt;

I will show you the blazer soon!
I wore this to the country arts fest;

this to dinner out;

this to Tom’s work event;

this to school on Friday:

this to school on Thursday. These new Amazon pants do nothing for me. I think they are too big. I needed this size for my waist, but they just look too big everywhere else.

I want to do more graphic tees with sweaters and I love her hair! This is the sister Morgan from Nobody Wants This on Netflix:

She is wearing a shirt, not a sweater, but the vibe is the same.
What have you been wearing?
Amy
You can’t go wrong with leopard- I am loving that wrap/jacket/whatever you call it- ha!! 🙂

I almost got rid of it! Found it years ago in the kohl’s accessory dept.

You totally have Morgan hair! Your hair looks just a bit thicker but has that same style-beautiful
Have you explained in detail how you fixed your Sambas to fit better- I’m struggling with mine
Happy Halloween!

Awww thanks!
Ok – this is crazy! I blow dried the backs to make them more pliable and I put baggies of water in the shoes and froze them overnight to stretch the toe box.
I felt ridiculous but it gave me the little bit I needed!

I know! I also just found out there is an adidas called the court that looks so similar but sounds more comfy!

I finally did some ironing last weekend, so I’ve been wearing linen and shirts that need ironing in order to look good. It’s still mid-80s here, so the linen works. I’ve been following your advice and choosing 5 tops/outfits for the week on Sunday. I like this a lot because it keeps the rotation going, and I don’t reach for my old favorites repeatedly in the morning. I hope you have a great birthday!!

And, here I was thinking I needed to give up on my graphic tees, but… I love that skirt and what a price! I can’t wait to see your blazer. I just don’t have any luck with them and my body. A week of great fashion, Amy!

I don’t think so! I think you can do a button up or sweater over. I am not a structured blazer type person – they are hard to fit me. I like the look in a more sweater like material. I hope the pink one looks ok and I might through it on today!

I love the leopard skirt. And I never have considered a trenchcoat. Fascinating that Walmart sells them now.
I like that hair too! I always try to describe layers to stylists (I never go to the same place twice lol) and they never really understand.
(this is my point about Amazon clothes…so unpredictable!)
