Well, I continue to rock the bike shorts with a graphic tee. I even bought myself another pair since I’m wearing them daily. Now, I have three pairs and they all have pockets on both sides. Here is my newest pair.

I can put my phone in one side and my Airpod case in the other. They are great for walking and for cleaning around the house. I wear them out with an opened button up shirt, too.

I’ve been reaching for my new Old Navy outfit:

  3. I love those Free Assembly dresses! I have been wearing jewelry to the pool this summer, because life is short and I want to look chic all of the time. That doesn’t mean that I am, but I’m pretending. 🤣 I do also kind of define that word as looking and feeling my very best, so if I consider my own definition, then I would consider myself chic! This was fun to read. What kind of shoes do you prefer for walking? I need a better pair of tennis shoes for this; I have some cute Nike ones that are good for my outfits, but not so much for walking.

  6. I love your Walmart Free Assembly dress. The color and style looks great on you! I’ve been spending alot of time with my father in law at his rehab facility following an accident. I haven’t had time to shop! 👏 My bank account is better for it and right now I don’t need more summer clothes.

  7. I think I’m probably more chic (everything’s relative 😉 in the summer, as I only wear dresses! Spending most of my adult life in NYC, I never wore shorts because the idea of my bare legs touching subway seats, park benches,etc really grossed me out, and I just got in the habit of dresses and never looked back. I am an equal opportunity dress buyer – I’ll buy them anywhere from Target to Saks, and am always on the lookout for more. I bought one last week at Whole Foods! haha I havent found a gauzy one that fits properly but that’s on my wish list!

  10. Amy! I just read all your posts from July 4 up until today! Your summer seems fantastic! But a lot of work with your sweet puppy it seems!

    We’re having a great summer this year, the girls are much more self-dependent and life is really good for us! They do uber to places they want to visit, and we have bought them American SIM-cards for one of their phones – why didn’t we do that last year!?

    I have not read any blogs for one month! I work for my husbands webpage a couple of hours every morning, and then I don’t want to see a computer for the rest of the day…

    My ears look exactly like yours! Stud and gold loop. And yes, I wear them to the pool!

  11. I love those striped shorts! I really just need to go into the store and try them on! I am not even going to begin to search the WalMart site because I already have too many clothes…no more temptation, Amy!

    We went to dinner with some neighbors last night, and I wore wide leg black linen pants with a grey tank and a lighter grey kimono over it. The neighbor beside me who never remembers she’s already introduced herself to me poked me in the arm and said, “I like that.” I forgot how old ladies can be! I’ll probably be just like that!
