Well, I’m not sure how much fashion is in my files this week, but here we go anyway! I had all these plans to take better photos this summer and…well…you see how that turned out!

Here is what I wore for a pool day:

I have on my very old Aerie hot pink suit that needs to go bye bye, my Aerie pink shorts, and my new Cynthia Rowley gauze shirt $22 from my consignment store.

Tito’s was sponsoring the day at the boutique hotel pool and Mason came with me!

We are drinking a special Tito’s blueberry lemonade.

Boat Day Outfit:

I discovered a hole in my very old Target cover up that day. I think it can be fixed. Victoria? Ha! She fixed my Aerie pink shorts because Eddie Otis made a hole in them. Victoria can take long sleeves and make them short. She showed me how she adapted a coverup. I am so envious of people who can sew, yet I don’t really want to learn.

I wore this to drop off a car and go to lunch:

I have on my Umgee gauze pants and my new Walmart blouse. Also, I think you can see how much use my Target silver faux Birks are getting!

Here is my 4th of July outfit:

I’m not sponsored by Old Navy, but my strawberry shirt is Old Navy a couple of years ago and the linen shorts (which now have a hole from Eddie Otis) are this year. Victoria?

Ok, let me explain. Eddie Otis jumps up and greets you with his teeth right now. He jumps up and greets my clothing with his teeth and my skin. Yeah, it’s not great.

And, I wore this for errand day:

One of my errands was a pedicure, so I wore flip flops. I also have a new Amazon belt bag on in this photo.

Also, this week, I was in Trader Joe’s which is near Old Navy and I walked in. The green color was on clearance for $9.99. Regular price was only $14.99, but still. Isn’t this a pretty green?

And, I picked up this gauzy short sleeve for $19.99 on sale. I thought it would come in handy with some of my bottoms.

I can’t quit you Old Navy!

What have you been wearing or buying lately? Are you shopping the big sale that shall not be named? It sounds like next week we have Prime Days coming up and I think Walmart is competing with them, too? Target are you in, as well? I am not shopping the big sale that shall not be named this year, I have a few things in my Amazon cart that I am waiting to see prices on, and I don’t know about the other sales yet.

  1. My mom and I went shopping on Monday and were so bummed that none of the stores seemed to be having any sort of summer sales; at least not like the ones we usually find around my birthday. Macy’s didn’t have ANY summer clothes on sale! But after a very long shopping trip I did come home with some great new pieces.

  2. That blueberry lemonade drink is so pretty – ha!! Now I want one and it’s not even 7am!

    I wish I could sew too and I have even taken lessons, bottom line – I have zero patience. You have the cutest summer pieces from Old Navy!

    1. Isn’t it? It was really good! It’s really easy to make at home, too. I haven’t been into mixing cocktails lately – just having wine or seltzers. What’s wrong with me?

  6. What a fun day with Mason! I love your 4th of July outfit – festive, cute and fun.
    All the sales kind of make me crazy. Target does have a sale too. I will check that out and then Iā€™m the same as youā€¦I have a couple of things in my Amazon cart, so weā€™ll see.

    1. We had a really good time. I wish Jack was more open to things like that, but he has no interest in a pool.
      I know – overwhelming. Also, JCPS now gives us $400 to spend from Amazon and I really don’t need to buy school supplies anymore. It’s wonderful!
      I saw that I can take 20% off at Target so I might do that. Might have to school teacher ID. I would get stuff for me, though, and not for school.

  7. I like the white shirt from Old Navy! I just bought protein bars from Target on sale, but nothing else and nothing from Walmart. I just purchased 1 beauty item (The Ordinary skin support for under $15!) from the big store sale that currently going on now. I, like the rest of America, have a prime list I am watching for next week. I think this is probably the slowest Amazon week because most people wait until next week to order their items!

    1. It’s really cute! I think I can pair it with some skirts. Good job – restraint. When you are decluttering like us, it’s hard to bring more clutter in – bonus! I really like The Ordinary. I never stick to one thing, though. I am now trying an Australian brand at Kroger. I have a post planned.
      I didn’t think of that – but you are so right! Amazon is bored this week!

  9. I’m looking forward to seeing what’s on sale, although I’m feeling like I don’t need anything right now. I’m hoping that Mollie is easing out of the nibbling/jumping phase!

    1. I have barely glanced. The clothing seems the same each year.
      So, the biting is better but it’s still here with EO. He doesn’t jump a lot but he more like tugs on my clothes. And, I better not dare swing a shirt or tote around him. He takes so many things as an invitation.

  10. Oh, I have the shirt that matches your striped shorts and wear it all the time! I thought about getting them, but that inseam is just a tad too short for me. I bought two things from that particular sale…setting powder because it’s my favorite and it really was a good price and a caviar stick for the same reason. It’s become so blah. Luckily, I don’t have Prime so I won’t be tempted by that. Target…maybe…

    1. Oh, I want that! They didn’t have it in store so maybe I should order it. I would love another “set”. They don’t seem too short on me, but maybe they look like it? I think you can use that sale for the tried and true things but I just feel like the clothing is all the same year after year. I found myself getting sucked into the hype a couple of years and now I look away!
