It’s already Thursday! This week has flown. I am in my second to last week of school for students. I do have to go back after Memorial Day. Things are really winding down. The goal has been comfy but still trying to wear unique/different outfits without repeating. It’s showing me just how many clothes I really have. I haven’t had time to shop! Seriously! When has this ever happened?

I am happy to link up with Kellyann and Jill for Fashion Files, so let’s go!

I got a lot of compliments on this last Thursday. I feel that it is meh. I also didn’t button the tiny back of neck button because the last time I did with another blouse that I have donated, I lost a chunk of hair. My hair got so tangled up around the button that Tom had to perform a procedure to get me loose. I offered him my hair but he declined. Bald jokes are fun! You’re welcome for the puppy butt shot.

The next day I was super casual and I wore jeans, slim gold flip flops, and my ON oversized top. I’m holding Eddie Otis to show you how big he has gotten.

I was off the next day and got to do lunch with my college kids who were almost graduates! Mason got in my shot! I wore my Dillard’s Westbound jeans, my TJ Maxx blouse, and my newish Beach sandals.

Graduation Day! I did look for a new dress, but I had some options and ended up choosing the black gauzy and brought a cardigan if needed. I fancied it up with my bee clutch

and my champagne earrings.

The next day I put the same outfit on for pics!

Monday to school I wore last year’s Walmart dress with a consignment cardigan. I have on pineapple earrings. I was finally feeling that the end was in sight so the tropical and pineapples made sense!

Tuesday I wore granny’s nightgown which is another dress from Walmart last year. I added the Carly Jean kimono over it. I wore my Amazon two strap wheezing sandals. Only Jen will get that! They “wheeze” when you walk. You know how many people whistle while they work? These wheeze while you walk. I’m here all week folks. Oh yeah, remember when I said I was only posting three times a week? Does anyone really believe me anymore when I say that! I can’t quit you. I just can’t.

And, for our finale, I put out Malibu beach vibes yesterday with my “50 shades of blue”. I have blue pants, blue tee, blue nails, blue toenails, and a blue heart that I had to go to work.

Someone else felt blue, too.

And, that’s my week – or the days I remembered to snap!

Do you have any favorites? Any you hate? I’m a little too fragile for that second question.

What have you been putting on your body? I really want my friend Dan to answer this question! Ha!

  1. That first outfit with the skirt and the floral dress with the pink cardigan are my favorites… but that probably has more to do with the colors and summery vibes than the actual style. Sadly we are still wearing mostly long sleeves/sweaters and pants (and boy am I so sick of my pants! LOL). I have been sucking it up and wearing Capri pants and flip flops and just dealing with cold feet because it’s late spring and this cooler wet weather is just getting ridiculous.

  2. I can’t believe you’re almost finished for summer! I have four more weeks with students and a whole week of teacher conferences… So, you to your outfits! I love what you wore for the lunch with your boys and the ON top and of course always that white skirt. Didn’t hate anything! 😄

I’m wearing skirts and dresses because summer has finally arrived!

  3. love the jeans top and gold flip flops. Can you share links to those items? Also your graduation post really helped get my expectations in check for my son’s highschool grad day. Thank you for sharing! I just found some good bike shorts to wear under dresses so I’m ready for warm days!

  4. You are so funny Amy! I enjoyed all of your outfits and your wheezing shoes make me laugh! I have shoes that squeak and it drives me crazy!

I am so not a fan of a button at the back that pulls my hair out. I have thin hair as it is and can’t afford to give any away!

Thanks so much for linking up with us!

  5. I love your Monday outfit …& the blue outfit …it’s giving California chic.
    “Wheeze while you walk.” Haha
The black dress & champagne earrings are perfect for graduation. You look great!

  6. I love your first outfit the best followed by your black gauze dress. I had to laugh at your “wheeze while you walk” shoes! I found a pair of cute like new Reef platform sandals at Goodwill. The only problem was they made farting noises every time I took a step! Another shoe story – my mom gave a friend a pair of sandals that she didn’t wear much but her friend loved. Her friend wore them to the grocery store and later noticed that she was leaving a trail of rubber sole across the store 😂 Be careful of old shoes!

  7. Nice! I loved the oversized ON top with the jeans, the tropical dress with the pink cardigan, and the dress you wore to your sons’ graduation! Your earrings are cute, too. I didn’t hate anything. I’m rotating my clothes much more this year, and I’m realizing how many things I have to wear as well. I did buy a few new things recently, both from the Gap, using points mostly from my Old Navy CC. My husband hates the credit card, but I love it because it has the best rewards! I usually have a promo where I get 5X/points on groceries. It doesn’t take me very long, less than a month to amass $20-30 in rewards points, and I can use them at Banana Republic and the Gap, too, in addition to the factory stores. I bought a white, gauzy shirt with ruffles that makes me feel like an angel, lol, and a cropped denim shirt. I like cropped shirts because I’m petite, and cropped is a good length on me, but I also wear a cotton tank under it because I don’t want to inadvertently flash my stomach at anyone! 🙂

  8. You always look great! I think my favorite outfit is either the white skirt one or the graduation dress, with my least being the nightgown dress. (I feel weird saying that, but I’m just repeating what you said!) I know exactly what you mean about wheezing shoes…I had a pair on yesterday that drove me bonkers!
