It’s Thursday or Fashion Files Day with Kellyann and Jill!

Let’s go back to last week…

One day I wore this – J.Crew Factory printed pants I found on the clearance rack in the fall, J. Crew. consignment cardigan, my new Target muscle tee I talked about last week. I have worn a Target tee so many days! You can see in the background I was debating on a darker pink cardigan that is also consignment from many years ago.

I forgot to get a full outfit photo, but I basically wore the same parade outfit to school on Friday – same tee, light green cardigan, headband, and starburst earrings with black flare pants and sneakers.

I very rarely remember to take athleisure photos! Here is what I wore on Saturday.

Here is what I put on Saturday afternoon for dinner. I wore my weekend jeans, my pot o’ gold clogs, my Old Navy “pirate shirt” – every time I wear it I think of the Seinfeld episode, and my headband.

And, finally on Sunday… the last of my St. Patrick’s Day garb…

Monday for school it was back to winter temps outside but it was sub tropical in my classroom – oops. I wore dark red Matildas, my Nikes, a black Target muscle tee, and my star sweater because I’m a star – just kidding!

Have you kept track? Four of the outfit photos contain a Target muscle tee!

And, finally for the first day of spring, I did not let the temps deter me. I wore white jeans, my Gazelles, and a favorite TJ Maxx blouse of last season. I wore the heck out of this blouse and plan to again. I really love a blouse.

So, what have you been wearing? Do you have a favorite outfit of mine this week? Oh, and my press ons have lasted 10 days this time! I think it’s the petite size that’s done this for me. The better the fit, the longer they will last. I would be curious to try Andrea’s method. I believe she uses glue with her press ons and gets them to last 3 weeks! That thought scares me a bit, too, though. What if I can’t get them off when I want to get them off?

The only thing I’ve bought this month is my 5 Target muscle tees – 2 black, 1 white, 1 lime green, and one pale yellow.

I am trying to not shop until spring break so that I can treat myself shop a bit then! Do you think I can do it? I do have a couple things sitting in my Amazon cart even though I am trying to steer away from Amazon, Target (oops!), Old Navy, etc. I really want to visit my consignment shops over break. I want to do another big closet clean out and really try to figure out the essence of Amy Spring and Summer 2024. Ha! How can you take me seriously?

Do you have any spring and summer goals in the fashion department? I would love to hear!

Have a fashionable day,

Amy

  1. Those pink gazelles are a big hit! I’ve seen them on some cool people here in Sweden! I ordered the normal model in light green – they are fantastic! So cute and fresh! But I don’t want to wear them until the streets are swiped and clean…

I think I will do a lot of jeans material this spring! Light blue is so spring:y!

    1. OMG! I am cool like a Swede? I make hasselbacks and practice fika so maybe I really am Swedish now! No way – I tried on the light green classics. Such a great light moss color. I really want some of those, too. Maybe I can get lucky at my consignment store. I also want white platforms. I want! I want!
That is a good idea – they will dirty up really fast.
Have you tried the Canadian tuxedo look yet? Denim on denim? I like it best with contrasting shades of denim.

      1. You are SO cool like a Swede! 😀 Adidas, hasselsbacks and fika – that’s it! You’re like a native! 😀

The light green classics are divine! I’m so fortunate my daughters’ feet are a litte bit bigger than mine…! (Although they managed to squeeze into my Stan Smiths…, bummer.) White platforms – yes! I have the converse Chuck Tailor’s with platform, super cute!)

Canadian tuxedo is perfect! And I have to disagree with you – the color should be exactly the same!

  2. We’re back to really cold winter like temps this week too so I’ve been pulling out all my turtlenecks and turtleneck sweaters again.

  3. Spring has sprung! Love all your colorful outfits. Outfits 1 & the last one are my faves but I even love your “pirate” shirt and clogs. I need to do a major closet purge again. Been putting that off! It’s still organized but definitely needs to be purged

    1. Yes! Thank you! Me + Color = Love. Thank you. I felt like myself in most of the outfits. I also plan to do that over spring break. I hope to finally say good-bye to sub par duplicates and to things that aren’t 10/10 for my fit, style, lifestyle, etc. When you have a smaller wardrobe, you feel like you have more for some crazy reason! I might finally get myself that Lulu crossbody as a reward or another spring/summer bag that helps “make” the outfit!

  4. I loved the Sunday outfit the most this week! I really love a good button down. I have faith in you to withstand your goal of not shopping until spring break! It’ll feel extra fun then if you can hold off now. That’s a great spring break goal, to clean out your closet!

    1. Thank you! Have you tried wearing your red/white stripe open with a white tank/tee under? I think it would look great on you. I forgot to tell you I love your new belt bag/sling bag. It really looks like Anthropologie. I am still going strong. It helps to be busy! I agree – it will feel like a spring break treat and cleaning out my closet once more will actually make me feel that I have more rather than less!

  5. I am loving your atheisure outfit and your first day of spring one! I have worn a little bit of everything but I think this month’s favorite of mine was my afternoon outfit this Sunday, denim with this really pretty light green top. Now I have to iron it because it got super wrinkled when I washed it.

  6. Spring has sprung in the Central Valley of California and I’m here for it. I’m still plugging a long with my #24in2024 and have purchased 4 items since Jan 1! I plan to head to Ann Taylor and buy a few new summer tops because i basically have lululemon tees. My fave of your week is athleisure outfit!

  7. My favorite is probably number one followed by the star outfit followed by all the rest of them! I love your realness! And, you have really great legs!

I have been wearing layer upon layer as it’s been so chilly here. I’m so ready for warm weather. I really want a denim skirt, but I don’t want a pencil type skirt. I doubt I’ll be able to find exactly what I want. When I wear pencil skirts, they end up as belts…just riding up, twisting around, creating a real fashion moment! Hahaha!!

I don’t really have any fashion goals other than to grunge up my Stan Smiths. I am not good with platform sneakers so I think, if I add any, they will be more like a pair of Sambas.

    1. Thank you! I really wear these outfits – hits or misses! Thank you!
I think I know what kind of denim skirt you want. It is going to be hard to find and you might need to do petite to get the right length. If I see anything, I will send you the link. I also am enamored by the Sambas. They are so cute. I love the platform but I can also see having a lower profile option.
Ask your grandkids to get your SS dirty for you! Ha!
