This week’s Fashion Files with Kellyann and Jill is going to be kind of short for me because I just don’t have much fashion in my files!
The way I have this tucked in in the photo is not good, but I think and hope I fixed it. I wore my new Old Navy striped button up with my yellow MJ pants and a scarf-like headband with blue and yellow and a design. I got so many compliments on this blue and yellow combo.
That night for Tom’s builder event, I wore the same top part with jeans and my Hush Puppies pumps. Also, you can’t see in the first picture, but I wore my two Kendra Scott chains that came with a black pendant and I liked how it looked over the shirt. So, at least the top part will be on repeat!
Friday I broke out a Loft top from last year with a black vest, Matilda Janes, and stark white sneakers from Madewell that I bought pre-pandemic.
Saturday was hair day and the roads were wet. I wore a black Amazon top, my Kut from the Kloth jeans, and my rubber Danskos.
Monday for teacher work day I wore this because I had plans after work:
I even wore my tequila earrings because there were no students. Look at the color coordination I have going on here!
Tuesday I wore my fun leggings, a black v neck short sleeve, and a black knit cardigan. I forgot to get an outfit photo!
I did something crazy-ish. Look what I ordered! I will take them back if they aren’t perfect, but with me wearing sneakers almost everyday to work now, I figured I could justify it. I got a $28 discount and free shipping, so that was nice, too. I can return them in person to my Dick’s. I originally wanted the pink with green stripe platforms, but they have not been in stock for a couple of months and I love yellow and this is more neutral.
I am working on my February Fashion Purchases post. I have not bought much in February! The month just flew for me!

That blue and yellow is such a pretty color combination. I feel like ever since I got those colorful pants in from Stitch Fix that’s pretty much all I’ve been wearing!

I love that pink sweater and jeans combo the most, I think, but all of the outfits look really good! I do love that blue and white button down…I’m going to try mine on again and decide about returning it. I tried the red and white one again yesterday, and I decided to go with it and just keep it oversized. It’s great to be at work and comfy, right? I’m talking about your leggings day. I need to invest in some that I will be comfortable wearing out; I only wear mine at home. Fun outfits this week!

Look at some j jill black leggings for work. I have some capris that are more like ankle length on me and with your tops I think you would look quite put together. Mine are old but a great non clingy material that actually feel cooling to me. I have them in navy, grey, and black.

I love the new sneaks and all of these looks! Those earrings that match your nails are so fun! My fave look is the pink and sweater and jeans outfit.

I have been thinking about some Adidas Gazelles for awhile now. Have not pulled the trigger. Will be curious to see if you like them.

I cannot wait to hear what you think of your new sneakers! I am making peace with spending a little more on sneakers too since they really have become a mainstay in my wardrobe. The sambas were kind of on my radar but I’m not sure.
Your tequila earrings go with that sweater and your nails perfectly! What an incredible match.
I need a new blue and white striped button up. Tried one on today at JCF but didn’t get it, still thinking about it. Maybe I need to check this one out at ON!

Do you have platform white Adidas? Was just talking about platforms with a hs girl needing taller shoes for the longer flare jeans!

Yes, I have the Nizza platforms by Adidas. I am wearing them now actually! But they are white canvas and I was thinking I might like to have something with some color. Anyway…I think that’s what’s holding me back, I don’t really need them!

White just bought a backup pair of white adidas that I have been wearing from Sports academy. I sized down whole size. They are the adidas women’s bravada2.0. Right now on clearance and they also have them on Amazon. Under $40. I have been wearing mine so much!

I think you must be the most fun teacher at your school! Love those earrings and the color coordination going on, too. I am not big into sneakers but I do like my ON pair. I have a pair of Stan Smith Adidas that I just don’t think are that comfortable plus they’re just too white. I need to put some good orthotics in and grunge them up a bit! And, you know I love your Mathilda Janes! Dang! Why did they have to go out of business? My oldest granddaughter used to wear it all the time. My daughter would sell the clothing for as much if not more than she paid! It was so well made!

Love all your fun outfits. Have you ever considered tying your button-downs at the waist instead of tucking? I’ve started doing that with a lot of my shirts/cardigans and really love the look ..just switching it up some😊 I work for J.Crew as a fun little part-time job and I’ve noticed they have gotten wind of my trend as some of our displays models are rockin’ the tied waist too with our spring roll out😉 i’m a lot like you and consider fashion a favorite hobby. I love both classic fashion and fast fashion. On most days I just let my heart guide my fashion choices not necessarily the trends. Love your fashion files posts the most❤️

Thank you! Yes! I plan to try that with my two new oversized. The ones I had before didn’t have enough material. How fun – I love our new little J.Crew Factory and can’t believe the deals I can get on the sale rack. I never go in with a purpose – just look at the sales. It is right next to Trader Joe’s so I go at the same time usually.
I am the same – like a mix of trendy and classic. I want to do more fashion posts!
