It’s Thursday and that means it’s time to show some fashion. I snap one picture before I walk out the door on a school day and sometimes, I snap a weekend photo – trying to get better about that!

I am linking up with Kellyann and Jill today!

Goal this month is to wear all the red and pink!

Mondays call for easy and this was easy and comfortable. I have on my bright red Matilda Janes, black ballet flats, and a black sheer sleeve TJ Maxx knit top with a Kendra Scott necklace.

Over the weekend, I wore fun bright leggings both days.

My bright blue Hey Nuts from Amazon:

My floral Walmarts:

I like having pockets when I am cleaning around the house so I can have my phone and listen to podcasts. I did clean part of both days and it’s just nice to have these pockets!

Saturday night outfit was my weekend button flys, my V Day sweater, and my New Balances – I wanted to wear clogs or better shoes, but we were walking to a brewery.

Last Friday for school I wore my new pink and white striped button up with my Wit and Wisdoms and my silver clogs. I also wore silver jewelry to match the clogs. I love this new button up and my new blue and white one.

And, last Thursday was February 1st, so I wore my V Day sweater to school with a pink top under and I really liked how it match the sleeves and bottom trim. This made me feel better about the lack of pink buttons. A girl asked why I was dressed for St. Patrick’s Day.

And, Tuesday, I wore my new Carly Jean Los Angeles top (it’s navy and white but looks black and white in this photo) with a consignment J. Crew sweater. I liked the navy and pink together.

I’m happiest on days I wear color! I’m really excited to have a couple of button ups, too. These are from Old Navy and are oversized so I could have probably gone down a size. I also want to wear them open with a tank underneath. I think they would make a great swim coverup, too.

What have you been wearing lately?

Amy

  1. I love all the color Amy! That green cardi WILL be great for SPD too – I love it! Especially with the gold clogs. The striped button up looks great on you – I am a sucker for a button up and stripes!

    1. Me too – it really makes me happy. I agree. I will wear it in March. Thank you – I used to think I couldn’t wear a button up with my chest, but it takes trial and error.

  2. I love wearing bright colors with olive colored pants, as you mentioned in one of the comments. Red and olive is probably my favorite, but pink is good too! I need a new button down- where is yours from? I got the Old Navy one last year, but I’m thinking I’d love one or two more. I’ve been wearing a lot of pink in my accessories this week- shoes, bracelets, earrings.

    1. I want to try olive and pink! I am not sure if I have tried red and olive? Olive is such a neutral, though.
Ok – I really think you should try the Old Navy oversized and size down one to two? I am loving both of these shirts. They were about $27 each. They also have solids. There is a hot pink solid I am considering. I think pink is your color!

  3. I love all of your outfits, but the last one with the striped t-shirt under the J Crew sweater is my favorite. I’ve been trying to rotate my clothes, resisting the urge to grab my favorites over and over. It has been in the 60s this week, which won’t last for long, so I wore my jean jacket today over a long-sleeved black t-shirt, and a cream t-shirt under my J Crew corduroy blazer yesterday. I wore a sweater earlier this week over a flannel shirt. I’m loving my Rothy drivers and am amazed by the quality and comfort!

    1. Thank you, Susan! I really like navy and pink, I think. I have very little navy, though. Why? Not sure. Good for you! You sound super classy and stylish! Do you think they make your feet sweat? My flats did. I wonder if they have improved that issue?

  4. I love those Mathilda Jane Finns! They’re just so much fun! I had to look at your sweater again to figure out why that student said St. Patrick’s Day! All I saw were hearts, then I realized the color! I did buy two of the ON button ups, but I’m not sure if I like them. They look much better on you!

Have a wonderful end of the week and weekend!

    1. They are really good teacher pants, to be honest. No fussy zippers and they are as comfortable as the dreaded pajama pants! I don’t have a problem with pj pants per se, but they are a symbol for the laziness and the attitude in schools right now – referring to your comment on my Ed post. Does that make sense? I can wear the green sweater in March, too! Maybe try a different size or look for a more fitted style? I probably need that, too, but enjoying the oversized.
      You too!
