Happy December 1st to all! Can you even believe it? I am happy to link up today with both Andrea and Erika for Friday Favorites.

This week really flew for me. Did it fly by for you?

So, here are some faves from my week!

First, it was fun to switch from fall colors to festive colors!

I didn’t do a Fashion Files this week, so here is what I wore:

New Chelsea boots from Nordstrom and new Target Christmas tree sweater:

Amazon Gucci-esque sweater, black pants, Madewell sneakers:

Spanx faux leather leggings, New Balances, Old Navy button up, black vest:

And, yesterday I wore my Wit and Wisdom Itty Bitty Bootcuts and my hot pink cougar blouse:

I am wearing different colors and also deciding what to keep and what has to go in my winter closet.

And, I can’t believe I’m on the internet in pajamas! I was influenced by by Jen and got the super soft Walmart Joyspun set but if one is good, three pairs are great! In my defense, I don’t have any winter pajamas. I wear shorts and tank tops to bed, so I wanted something to wear around the house. These run big. I would say size down one or two sizes. I could have gone down another in the pants but not the top and they do come as a set. I also got the pink polka dot ones and green plaid.

Jack walked in as I was wearing this around and said I looked like a Dr. Seuss character.

I really like this Maybelline Vinyl I picked up over Thanksgiving break. I was looking for a long wearing product.

We had some fun in one of my levels this week. We were learning future tense and they wrote fortunes for each other. I brought in fortune teller props. Some of them really got into it! It was really fun to see!

This has put me in a festive mood this week – yum!

And, that’s all I really have for my faves this week! All I did was work and come home!

What were your favorites?

Amy

  1. I totally agree that the week flew by and I can hardly believe that it’s the 1st of December. I love all your outfits, Amy, you look amazing! How clever to use fortune teller props to teach about future tense. QuΓ© maestra tan creativa! What a great way to keep the kids engaged and motivated to learn!

    1. Yes! I am not complaining really! Thank you – I am trying to only wear what fits and flatters and feels like me. I have too much!

  2. I found a cute nightgown from JoySpun that I really like – so soft! I think it’s nice to have a cute pair of pjs, especially at the holidays.
Vinyl Ink is really so good, I have a few different colors and they do not disappoint!
I hope you have a fun weekend Amy! Bet you are getting excited about your trip!

    1. OH, I do want to try sleeping in a short nightgown. Sounds weird, but it’s true. I think so too!
I am new to Vinyl. I want to find a good red from them, too.
Thank you and to you, too. I am getting so excited to see Mason especially! I think he really misses us.

  3. I love those pajamas, but I can’t ever buy them when they’re in sets. I always need a bigger top than bottom, and I never end up wearing them. They sure are cute, though! I have the same issue with lounge clothes and what I sleep in each night: I wear pajama pants or fleece leggings with sweatshirts in the winter, and in the warmer months, I wear leggings and usually a black long sleeve top around the house. I love being comfy at home, so I change pretty much right when I get home. I sleep in a long sleeve short nightgown each night, because my arms get cold, but I can’t stand things to be twisted around me.

I’m glad your week was good and that it went by quickly! That project for your kids sounds like they enjoyed themselves. That’s always a bonus, I’m sure!

    1. Same, but I took a chance on these and they work. Love that Walmart runs big! I need to invest in nicer looking at home clothes for sure.
      Thank you! Happy Friday!

  4. Yea for getting out the festive colors! And I bought some of that peppermint mocha to add to my drinks – so good, right? I wish we had more fun, festive things to do around our town – we have some friends coming into town next weekend and I looked at the city calendar – everything is geared to much younger/sillier crowds. Boo. Oh well, we have dinner reservations at a nice restaurant so that will be good. Here’s to enjoying the season!!

    1. Yes – color makes me so happy! It’s so good!
That’s too bad – are there any neighboring towns? I bet the nice restaurant will have pretty decor and maybe you can drive around and see lights adult style – with boozy hot chocolate! Ha – except for the driver of course!

  5. I also just bought my 2nd pair of Joy Spun PJS! They are soft and cozy! Now I’m thinking I need the striped ones! πŸ™‚

  6. Those pajamas are so cute! I have so many sets of pajamas. For years, I bought a new pair of flannel pjs from VS. Then, my kids thought pajamas would be a good gift for Christmas. I really need to get rid of some of them.

The highlight of my week was buying a new Christmas tree! We have really high ceilings in the living room, and the 7.5 ft tree just didn’t cut it last year. So, I’ve been decorating like a little elf!

    Have a wonderful weekend, Amy!
