It’s Thursday and time for a little fashion with Kellyann and Jill.
What have you been wearing? We have had 50’s and 60’s mostly around here. We also had some grey and drizzly days. I think we are getting to the 70’s next week, so that will be nice. I love this cool and crisp weather, to be honest. When people say they are cold, I’m like, “you ain’t seen nothing yet”. Usually people are cold because they aren’t dressed appropriately.
This is a new blue top that I was kind of on the fence about. It is from a local boutique called Darling State of Mind and it’s one of my favorite brands Umgee. I liked the color and it’s UK blue and I liked the style. This is a bad photo and I hope it looks ok. I did change shoes to closed toe.
I want to point out that I am wearing the other style of Matilda Jane pants that are more like a flare yoga pant with layered detail at the bottom. I love these pants.
There we go – I cleaned my mirror. I wore this Friday to school because it was Friday and I felt celebratory. I made it through the first week back! I am wearing my Target Universal Thread straight leg jeans in short, my cougar? poncho silk top, and my gold clogs.
Saturday night for dinner – same jeans, same clogs, my woodland print blouse from TJ Maxx and a fuzzy hooded vest thing because it was chilly out.
Monday for school I was preppy-ish. I wore the same jeans (don’t worry, I am now washing them!), a white button up, my sweater vest, and my Moo shoes. The Moo shoes are Hush Puppies loafers that are super comfortable. I have been getting lots of compliments on my footwear. People comment on the gold clogs and the Moo shoes a lot.
I thought this was funny. I was in a hurry and Tom was doing his “hair” in the background. I am wearing another pair of Matilda Jane flares in a dark green with a J.Jill consignment blouse and a mustard cardigan from Target. I’m wearing my brown Danskos.
Do you have a favorite? I am enjoying wearing my fall clothes! I love fall colors!

My favorite outfit is your Monday preppy-ish one but honestly I like everything you’ve been wearing! Fall fashion is my favorite.
Funny – I was talking to the front desk man at our hotel on Monday and he said there is no such thing as bad weather, it’s bad fashion – ha!! I agree.

I think my favorite is the last outfit! I also really love that green poncho style blouse. I love the cooler, drizzly weather sometimes! After too many days, I miss the sunshine, but it’s the quintessential fall weather. Thanks for the Dawn tip on my stained palazzo pants. I’m hoping it’ll come out since I’ve already washed them once!

Thank you! It was very fall vibes! I think the green poncho is looking too summery and I need to pack it away. Dawn has been working well for me bc I think most of my stains are grease/food related. If it works on baby ducks who roll in tar and oil, it might work on your pants! LOLOLOLOL

“fuzzy hooded vest thing” You crack me up, this is exactly how I would describe something! I love the last outfit, the colors are perfect for fall and the blue blouse in first outfit is a great color for you. Next week we are supposed to drop to the 70s from this weeks 90s, I can’t wait!

I love them all, but especially the sweater vest. I saw one last weekend at the J Crew Factory, and I’m thinking I might go back and buy it. It’s the same cream color and is identical, I think. I guess I’m preppy because Oxford short plus jeans is my style. I also need to get more jeans because most of my pants don’t fit right now. On a positive note, I’m trying to wear all of my tops at least once before I repeat. I’m doing pretty well with it!

Oh, that bright blue is your color! You look so good in it! Those are the kind of Mathilda Jane pants I have and love them. They’re so comfortable but a step above just leggings or sweatpants. Love the sweater vest. I haven’t quite been brave enough to try one.

Lovely clicks and nice combinations. But my personal favorites are the royal blue top and the olive green top. Nice work pairing it with golden shoes, looks gorgeous.
