If I have counted correctly, I have done 6 posts about what I buy at Costco! So, here comes number 7! The products change and our tastes change, so no two of the posts are exactly alike.

I try not to look at the clothing for me because it seems tempting and the prices are good, but I end up not being satisfied with my purchases. Exception: the Sporto short black rainboots that I bought a few years ago. Those have been great! We bought all the boys’ winter coats from Costco and quite a few clothing items over the years. Tom is too picky to buy his clothes from Costco – ha!

The purpose of this particular Costco run was stocking up for school and having easy stuff in the freezer to pull out.

I love this already cooked chicken. It is the best grilled chicken strip I have found. It isn’t slimy.

I really like these noodles and they are zero WW points. I put Japanese barbecue sauce or a tomato sauce on them when I want a noodle.

On the left starting in the back, I bought a pack of frozen chicken breasts, a pack of Chick Fil A dupe chicken patties that are great in the air fryer -you can make a sandwich or cut up and put on top of a salad, individually frozen fish, Amylu Apple and gouda sausage (3 WW points each), and below…

orange chicken.

I bought chips and Cheez-its because my kids eat so many and then we really like to have a bag of frozen green beans on hand that I roast in the air fryer or oven.

This is sold in Costco, but I already had it at home. I highly recommend this for an easy dinner. You can do rice, a protein, and whatever vegetables you have, and top it with this.

New product to me and I love it – avocado salsa – you can really taste the tomatillos. I have been eating this with chips, topping tacos, and putting it on burrito bowls.

Not pictured: egg whites – they are really good here. They come in cartons and there are maybe 8 cartons in a box and they last for a long time. I also got Chomps beef sticks to be a snack for me that is high in protein (3 WW points a stick).

I also got Ernie’s dog food. He gets one scoop of Kirkland dog food two times a day along with his boiled chicken, green beans, and carrots. Sometimes he gets a scoop of pure pumpkin or a bit of egg. He lives well!

I didn’t get these this trip, but we also get: trash bags, paper towels, toilet paper, and the spinach salad that they make in store. It is really good and would be great for company.

    1. Right? They aren’t bad in WW points, either. I think they are 6. That is great that Publix has the brand, too. We are getting two Publix but they won’t be anywhere near my house.

  1. I love that Just Bare brand of chicken. I’ve not bought the patties, but the nuggets are delicious! I use them for chicken parmesan with no pasta — I cook them in the air fryer, then pour warmed marinara from a jar over the top of them and top with mozzarella cheese that I melt by zapping it for 30 seconds in the microwave. It’s delicious, easy, and not too bad for you. You should try it sometime! I like buying eggs, spinach, coconut oil, hummus, avocados, salsa, and tortilla chips from Costco. We also buy trash bags and liners, toilet paper, napkins, wipes for the bathroom, the Ice brand of fizzy zero sugar drinks, protein drinks and bars from there. Todd goes every two weeks for the protein bars and drinks, and it’s usually once every 4-6 weeks for the other stuff. I also love their flowers! It’s where he bought me sunflowers a couple weeks ago. I love Costco posts! This was a fun one, my friend.

    1. It’s so good! They no longer have the nuggets and the Soule? brand they now have is not good IMO. I wonder if they do still have them at some Costco’s like yours but not mine? I had that idea just yesterday because I have a lot of marinara sauce and mozz. I could do real noodles for the fam and my Healthy Noodles for me. I buy some of the things you mentioned sometimes depending on what I am making, but I never want to waste those large quantities. Have you tried their spinach salad? It’s a meal in itself with some grilled chicken. Tom loves it. I have not bought their flowers but I will check. Now I love their Sauvignon Blanc wine that was either 4.99 or 7.99!

  2. The chicken patties are a great idea. I never thought of cutting them up for a salad. I think I’ll get those next time instead of the nuggets or strips. Thanks for all the great ideas.

  3. Tony is super picky about his clothes too and doesn’t buy any at Costco. I LOVE their golf skorts they carry each year and recently ran into the ones t the coast and they were clearance priced at $6 each. I mean. Come on. Sometimes I will pick up a cute pair of Pj’s too. I just bought Mickey Mouse ones for the beach house. I need to get those noodles and try them with my 0 point marinara sauce and my birdballs! I buy the baked lays for T for his lunches and chomps sticks for us as well. I also love all the berries. Costco has the best fruit. And we love the Just Bare nuggets.

    1. Yup – same. I bought one in the spring and it didn’t fit quite right. I will still wear it I’m sure. They do carry nice Carole Hochman pj’s – I have bought those as gifts. Good idea – the noodles are not that thick or substantial but I do like them. I hope you do or I will feel bad!
