Are you a coffee drinker? I drink less than 2 cups in the morning – I usually let one or both cups get a little cold and then I dump it out. I also sometimes like to have an afternoon cup of coffee.
When the weather warms up, I love iced coffee.
Have you heard of the whipped coffee trend?
It is made by combining 2 tablespoons each of instant coffee granules, sugar, and hot water. You then use your hand mixer to whip it until it becomes the consistency of whipped cream.

You then pour it in to 1 cup of any kind of milk and you can mix it up at this point if you desire.

Look how pretty the whipped coffee of my sister turned out!

Even tastier in my opinion is my short cut iced coffee. I take one stick of instant coffee granules – by the way, I bought decaf so if you are worried about the caffeine this is an option. Mix the granules with about 2 tablespoons of hot water – less water if you like it stronger. Stir up really good with a spoon, add ice, and pour in a half of a vanilla Premier Protein. I tried this with caramel last summer, but I love the vanilla and think it is the best.

It tastes better than Starbucks but it has been so long I do not remember what Starbucks tastes like!
I know it may be hard to get out to get instant coffee or Premier Protein right now, but maybe you can try this someday soon!
What type of coffee do you drink? Any recipes for me?

How cool with that whipped coffee! My daughters experiment with that, but they make it so sweet that my tongue curls up… I love iced coffee, and I often drink a big cup in the morning with a straw, while I put my makeup on. But no sweetener for me, just instant coffee, water and milk. I love sweets, but not in the coffee!
I just heard your president on the tv, and he said that Sweden was in great trouble… Well, we’re not! We’re just fine, and the hospital beds are still in abundance. I hope it will stay this way! A lot of things have of course changed; many restaurants are closed, my library is closed, all ski resorts are closed…

Tell daughters to make it again with less sugar! Ha! Iced coffee is so refreshing! I don’t use straws much because I heard I would get mouth wrinkles. Our president says a lot of things that aren’t quite right – lol! I just read an article that said maybe Sweden has this figured out and I tried to send it to your email but it didn’t work and I forgot about it! Enjoy your break!

Well, only the future will tell if we’re doing it the right way… It feels a bit strange to be the only country with schools open! But scientists worldwide seem to back it up. I just read an article that said that there are no reported cases where children have given the virus to a grown up! Another article said that “most teachers are young and healthy, so there’s nothing to worry about”!! …. well, thank you!

Starbucks Kcups. I used to buy DD until Scott finally mentioned, after yearsss, that it tastes awful. So now we only buy Starbucks.
A splash of whole milk with 3 T. of flavored creamer. I usually do 2 cups in the morning.

That’s a lot of milk and cream! The Starbucks k cups are always a bit strong for me and right now my favorite hot coffee is Kroger brand hazelnut k cups with my Dunkin Donut creamer – I have mentioned this many times!
Which Starbucks blend is your favorite?

Well , this post is about to be life changing for me. I had no clue how to make the whipped coffee and the iced coffee sounds delish. I’m trying both ASAP!

I’m so happy! I think you will prefer the Premier Protein version! And it only uses half of a carton so they last longer. I think I’m going to run up to CVS because Kroger left off my instant coffee! Ugh! I hate relying on simply online grocery shopping for that reason.
Let me know what you think!

I buy a four pack of Vanilla cream muscle milk — I don’t drink it on its own but use it for smoothies. It will be perfect for the iced coffee

Yes – that should work! I have never tried that brand! I have a plastic Starbucks cup that I put it in and feel kind of fancy!

Whipped coffee! Interesting! I love my cup of coffee in the morning. Just add a couple splashes of half and half. I never add sugar. I used to add sugar, but since I stopped, I can’t stand the taste of sweet coffee anymore. Weird! 🙂

I warned myself from sugar a couple of years ago and now I feel the same!
I bet the girls would like helping with whipped coffee!
Do you only drink one cup?

I gotta try this! I saw someone do it on IG but I need to read the directions. BTW, made your bacon alfredo last night and the boys loved it! Thanks for a great recipe!

It will taste bitter if you don’t mix it – I’m sure you’ve seen Lisa’s versions! Yum!
I’m so glad they liked it – it is from Narci at Grace and Love originally but I changed it slightly I think!

I usually have 2 cups of coffee in the morning and sometimes a cup between 3 and 4 in the afternoon. I only add a splash of half and half or whole milk. Occasionally I get a flavored latte or iced coffee at Starbucks, but I only get one pump of vanilla or hazelnut since I’m not a fan of sweetener with coffee and I want to taste coffee more than flavor. Your coffee and premier sounds like a great idea for me, I’m usually not much of a breakfast person, but if I’m going somewhere I like some protein and use the premier drinks, I will try it soon!

I want to taste coffee more than cream, too! I don’t like sickeningly sweet!

Love iced coffee especially during the warmer months, I’ve been seeing the whipped version talked about but haven’t tried it yet. I’ve not tried the Premier either and that sounds really good. I love flavored coffee and creamers. I use Stevia instead of sugar.

I don’t use any sugar in my hot coffee but for the whipped I think you can use sugar or a sugar sub. Let me know if you try it. The Premier Protein drink with only half is one WW point! That can’t be beat – plus I need extra protein. It’s so delicious!
