It’s Friday and time to link up with Andrea and Erika for Friday Faves.
This might be my shortest favorites post ever. I hardly took any photos this week!
How was your week? Did you succumb to Prime Days? I did! I ordered a second pair of boxers in red (I have pink):

I ordered the leggings that Jenn recommended – they have been in my cart for a long time!

And, these Teva sandals:

The Tevas are going back. They are hard to put on – like working a puzzle and they hurt. Nope!
Anyway, it’s fun to have a package arrive daily, but that needs to stop.
My blue French mani is still going strong and I still love it!

This is still cute but I am moving slowly:

Little boy is making us laugh at least once a day! I think I was showing Mason something on the table and he can’t stand to be left out.

I made my dinner protein in the morning one day this week. This is my favorite way to do dinner. Sorry for the kind of ugly photo. We had Mexican bowls.

We got to celebrate a friend’s retirement and I only took a picture of my appetizer plate.

Another night we ordered a mediterranean wrap and I made the side salad. Do you ever combine home cooked with restaurant food?

Kate’s been going through old family photos and sending them to us along with family friends that are featured. I’m in the green sweater. Can you tell I always liked to be the center of attention or nah?

One day I baked my brains out. I made a strawberry cake (will get iced later), dark chocolate brownies, and sopapilla cheesecake bars.

I spent much of the week hunting and gathering and my dining room table was full.

I will let you know Monday what all of this is for!
And, little Eddie Otis with “elefante” in his mouth:

He likes to keep it in his mouth the whole time he goes potty.
I had a list of about 5 things specific to Trader Joe’s for a quick run. I left the list on the kitchen table while I went potty (sorry!) and came back out and EO was eating something. He ate my list! This dog!
And, of course, it’s been such a sad week, too. My heart is broken for all those affected by the Texas flooding.

All your baking sounds delicious! I plan to make today a kitchen day and cook up some marinara and a squash casserole. I hardly ever combine homemade with takeout… but then again I can’t even remember the last time we got takeout.

When is the dessert party?? I will be right over :). We do sometimes combine take out with items prepared at home. We have a local farmer’s market with a kitchen for take out that makes the best ever fried chicken (that is the consensus by most in the area). They have sides you can purchase but they’re pretty expensive for what you get. Usually only once or twice a season we get their fried chicken, take it home, and have homemade sides like Mac and cheese and/or potato salad and fruit. Have a great weekend!

That picture of you is so fun!!! I love your spunky personality and seeing these photos of you and your sisters as kids makes me realize how much your boys look like your side of the family! And it looks like your mom had her hands full with you!!! Absolutely precious!
Can’t wait to see what all the baking and gathering is for!
My heart is broken for all those dealing with the floods – Texas, New Mexico – it’s just awful and unbelievable.

When you do that much baking at once, do you freeze some of it? If so, how do you freeze desserts? We combine carry out food with homemade side dishes several times per month!

I only bought one item from the Amazon sale. I got an Aquasource electric toothbrush for $30! I have always used an Oral B or a Sonicare but this one had great reviews and price. So far I’m really happy with it.

I may need to get those leggings too at some point, but I already bought waaay too much on Prime this week. That picture of you as a child is too cute!!!

I think I’m the last hold out on Amazon Prime! It would be just too tempting. All of my kids have it so they’ll order something for me if I need it really fast. I don’t know that I have any photos of my entire family. I think you were born to be a teacher…front and center and commanding all the attention. It took me a minute to get the hunter/gatherer reference…so punny! Love that EO has his toys. Jack destroys them…I guess he thinks that’s his job!

The baking sounds so good, and I can’t wait to hear what it’s for. I love the retro photo. Sometimes I think our old photos capture so much more personality since there were no retakes! And it is hard to make meat look appealing in a photo. Hope you have a good weekend!

I love your mani! I can’t believe EO ate your list. Haha
Homer did eat the kids’ homework a time or two. The throwback photo is priceless! LOL

I sent back two pairs of Tevas and a pair of Reefs last year and then got some Tevas I like this year. It’s a guessing game.
