It’s Thursday and fashion files day with Kellyann and Jill.

My favorite outfit of last week was this – my new white pants and my old tropical blouse. I managed to wear my Dr. Scholl’s for about half the day and then I changed into flat sandals.

I had an early dinner at Captain’s Quarters that evening and changed into my Aerosoles cork heels.

The next day for school I wore this. These pants were $8 at Versona many years ago and I love them. I am not sure if the gauzy camp shirt is flattering on me or not.

I am loving my new pink and white gingham boxers from Amazon – a Melanie Shankle rec. I paired them with my Aerie button up. I also have ordered a blue and white gingham pair from Aerie. I do wear shorts a lot in the summer and I love pairing shorts with a long sleeve when I can. If you get the Amazon shorts, I recommend ordering a size larger than normal. You don’t want them to be tight and they run a bit small.

I found out this weekend that I need to be back in my sneakers for work. My back told me so.

So, this next outfit is blah. I wore my Halaras to work Monday with one of my three Old Navy blouses from last year or the year before. I have it in the pink/orange combo and the black version, too. Also, I have the pink/orange dress version of the shirt. I saw the pattern and swooned.

Tuesday for work I wore my light blue gauzy pants and my Aerie button up. It has a tiny blue stripe that runs through.

I saw this and thought it was interesting. I consider my nails part of my fashion. I have the coral red on my fingers and pink on my toes. I was going for a lighter shade of pink but they didn’t have what I wanted.

My classroom is still hot and muggy. I need to wear short sleeves but I am not really feeling wearing dresses this week. We have a chance of rain every day and it has already rained every day this week!

  1. I like the white pants and your pink and white shorts. I am really feeling pull on style pants (as opposed to ones with a zipper and a button or two). I am over here sad that I am not a “stylish person” cause my toenails are not going to be painted red!! (lol, I’ll be fine…). Have a great Thursday!

  3. I love your first outfit…so stylish! Whenever you wear yellow, it’s so perfect …yellow is having a moment I think! The nail combo is me right now – who knew I could be so in style?! 9/10 times I have bubble bath on my nails and last time when I went to get a pedi, I went for the reddish Cajun shrimp color that’s pretty popular. Hadley was even surprised I tried a red! In the summer on my toes, I usually do some kind of pink. I’m definitely in sandals mode for school (since my dogs look decent 🤣) and only wear comfy sandals but sometimes my feet do need to structure/support of a tennis shoe.

  5. I love the outfits this week! You mentioned one of them being blah, the light blue Halaras with the printed top, but I loved that one! Maybe it’s just the shoes you didn’t love, but comfort for work will always beat fashion. I thought the nail picture was interesting, too; I have that exact combo on right now! Coral/red on my toes, and pinkish white on my nails. I’ve been super boring with my nails lately and keep getting neutral, which isn’t like me. I can’t wait for June when I’m tan and can pull off neon yellow again.

  6. I need a pedicure and I am waiting til next week since I have a race on Saturday. I love that first outfit of yours but they are all so cute. Why is pairing a long sleeve with shorts so cute? I love that combo but I get really hot wearing it so I don’t wear it very often.

  10. I like all your outfits this week; lots of white and thinner fabrics that definitely have those late spring vibes. I haven’t bought much for summer though I did buy some of the pink Dr. Scholls sneakers after our weekend and seeing Jenn’s in person.
