It’s Thursday and Fashion day with Kellyann and Jill!

Can we now say I have gotten my money’s worth from my three pairs of wide leg Halaras? Who is tired of hearing the word HALARA? What about my new wide New Balances?

Let’s go back to last week. I think this was Thursday and I wore this white Old Navy ribbed long sleeve tee under and old consignment kimono/poncho thing.

I can’t remember what I wore Friday and I forgot to take a photo!

Saturday night I wore:

Monday I wore the black Halaras, white tank, and old green/white Loft button up.

Tuesday I wore my new Natural Life tee. I feel like I look like a toddler. Does this outfit come in a 3T?

I thought the t-shirt material would be thicker, but I do like it and received a lot of compliments on it.

I was comfortable!

What have you worn lately?

Do you have a favorite outfit?

Amy

  1. I really like your kimono! I rarely think to wear mine. I actually haven’t been liking any of the outfits I’ve been wearing lately… I think perhaps I’m just sick of the clothes I’ve been wearing all season.

  2. Love your green cardigan. Perfect for spring…same with your last outfit. Love all the color. I think I’ve worn black 2/3 days this week. I need to start picking color 🤣

  3. I am not tired of hearing Halaras! You wear them so well, I swear you look better than any of their ads. I don’t think you looked like a toddler in that one outfit – you look great!

Hope you have a wonderful day!

    1. Thank you! I looked back and I have had them since at least December. Maybe November? So, I have consistently worn them 3-4 times a week since then. That’s a good buy I would say so I am pretty proud of that.
      No toddler vibes? Good!
I am really wondering how my retirement wardrobe will change! Thoughts?
      You too!

      1. Honestly, it’s a struggle for many. The temptation to live in yoga pants and tees is real! I think it will depend on what you end up doing with your new found time. The cool thing is you can wear shoes that aren’t necessarily concrete floor standing all day approved.

I just always get up and get dressed!

      2. I bet! I want to start my day in exercise clothes but wear real clothes after that. That is so true! I am tired of the concrete floors for sure.

  4. All of your outfits are cute! The Natural Life dress I have is very thin but it’s great for warm days. It’s already in the 80’s here so wearing lots of short sleeve and some sleeveless tops. Since it’s so warm now I am dreading the summer.

  5. I love all of these outfits! I have been starting to wear a lot more color (even though most of it hasn’t made it on my IG feed since a lot of it, I will post to accompany future blog posts. I went thrifting with a friend this past Monday so that was a lot of fun. 2 colorful trench that I need to wear on cooler spring days.

  6. I think you look fantastic in those Halaras! I really like that poncho, too. And, I don’t think you look like a little kid in that top! Love the pants, too. It took me a couple years to quit buying “teacher” clothes. But, you’re more sensible than I am!

    1. Thank you -it’s a good thing since I keep on wearing them. I would love to lose some weight but it’s not happening easily for me.
I think most of my clothes are wearing out and being a normal person clothes.
In the past I had more teacher clothes. We have gotten so much more casual.
